5 years ago we were stuck with what we had, nowadays web 2.0 social media shit makes forums a pain in the ass since you can just get banned because some nerd spergs over MUH RULES.

I can shitpost on Facebook and Skype all day without some fat dogfucking nerd waving his stubby cheeto-covered fingers and telling me "No no! This isn't how I want you to interact with your friends!" like he's some dumb little girl and I'm a doll.

That's part of the reason I loved FAF so much, the mods were so chilled out and level-headed. Now that they've all left, well, that's one of the big reasons I loved this place =/

Maybe in the last year or whatever, I wouldn't know. Last year I basically pointed out that their heavy-handed moderation practices were turning the place to shit and they needed to check their shit and my thread was more or less instantly deleted and I was permabanned even though I had a clean infraction record.

With the exception of a few people who hung up their hats a long time ago I pretty much consider that burgundy name a scarlet letter for the lowest tier of fat nerd scum.

The funny thing is that Dragoneer and friends were more lenient towards you for telling them to go get fucked than the likes of you were to people whose actions disrupted the site far less.

Personally, I would've refused to stand down and encouraged the others to do so as well, but to not consent to Neer's terms unless he could provide a legitimate response. Although it makes you wonder whether he'd have banned them all then...

Remind me why Kalmor got banned again? Was it because of the disclosure of personal staff information scandal, or was it because he didn't condone to the new rules and regulations? If that's the case why didn't the others get banned? Maybe Neer is trying to turn this culture into a legitimate business?

See this is the shit that happens when there is a lack of transparency, although Neer would most likely write it off as a "on a need to know basis".

I'm not blaming you, I don't even know who you are frankly, although judging by your join date I suspect I do and you've had a name change since I last checked this place out.

I said the likes of you because I know that some of the people involved with the decision to ban me, my friends, and people who just posted shit I enjoyed reading were on the mod team until recent events. People who made a community I enjoyed progressively less fun to be a part of because they're adult children who think that being a custodian of an internet forum gives them justification to mold it to their liking.

The shitposting is a breath of fresh air for a lot of us, frankly.
