Hello! I am Alanna, but folks are getting to know my as Gaalaactic on my brand-spankin' new account on DeviantART. Long story short, work is getting complicated and I'd like to just make my full time career art (Like I've WANTED to do but have always been discouraged from since I was a little kid) and I know a huge step for me would be to diversify my client base and portfolio. So, where do people go when they need to do that? FA!!

Here's the dish tho: I have no (recent) experience in drawing furries and that's where I need your help!

I am looking for some characters to draw to get some practice! Nothing too fancy, mind you, but I could use the work with animal faces and fluffy bodies! Here is my deviantart gallery >> http://gaalaactic.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/

I have a couple uploads on FA but most of it's still on DA.

Stuff I'm looking for:

  1. Cute! I wanna draw happy characters! I prefer pastel goth colors but almost any colors will do.
  2. Preferably feminine! Don't gotta be cisgirls, but I like drawing feminine stuff and I like boobs (I'm a pansexual dating a man so I'm feeling deprived!)!
  3. PLEASE INCLUDE CLEAR VISUAL REFS! I dont work from a wall of text. If you only have a head-shot or partial ref, I can still work with that as these will likely be portraits
  4. No complicated outfits! This isn't a clothing practice! I prefer nude, lingerie, or simple clothes! If possible, a nude version of a ref is ideal!
  5. These are simple drawings! I'm not doing a scene! You can request a post and I MIGHT be able to do it, but no backgrounds!
  6. PREFERABLE FURRED CHARACTERS! I am nervous about scales, etc. If you think I can draw yours, HMU, but I might have to turn you down.
  7. I MIGHT NOT DRAW YOUR CHARACTER! I have a MILLION human requests to do on DA, so I can only draw one or two here!
  8. These are free, yes, but I do offer commissions and welcome tips if you love the drawing! My commission info is here (DA view only, but notes on FA are fine!). If you want to tip me, note me and I'll give you my paypal!

Art is NOT my full time job, but I am transitioning in order to MAKE it my full time job (I have a lot of mental health issues that make it difficult for me to work, so I really need this to happen). By giving me practice, you will be helping me achieve my dream and, for the first time in these last 21 years I've been stuck, miserable, on this earth, I will be able to be proud of what I am doing!

TL;DR: Link me a ref (preferably nude) and I will tell you if I can draw your fursona/oc! Tips are welcome!

How 'bout a skunk~? If ya want a bit of practice drawin' a little bit of fluff, I wouldn't mind lettin' ya take a crack at my wickedly sarcastic skunk lady Vivian.

Here are a few images ya could use to help get a picture of how she'd look, apologies for throwin' several at ya, but is probably the easiest way since obtainin' a perfect representation on a ref sheet is nigh impossible these days, even more so since every artist would draw the same thing a little different each time anyhow.

Lol I see why people would assume you're a skunk but that's only because you have vaguely similar markings. Still definitely a wolf lol
