Ability to lock/close threads?

Hello all,

I'm not super active on here, but I could have sworn that we used to have the ability to lock/close our own threads so no one else could post on them? Am I mistaken? Have we never had that ability? (I could have sworn I did that to another thread of mine that is now inactive.)

If we do not have that ability, I'd like to ask, why? I have 2 threads I would like to close, because they have served their purpose and are no longer active anymore.

You have to @ flamingo (without the space) on the thread you'd like to lock. Or just report it. XD

There has never been a way for us to lock them on our own, unfortunately.
