AC/MFF food policy check

Ash Sukea

High functioning everything...most days.
So is the DLLCC or the Donald Stephens Center cool with con goers bringing in some tea or beer or a packed lunch?

We’ve become a bit dissatisfied with a nearby anime con after it moved to a new location with one pizza joint nearby and exorbitant prices on the underwhelming foods within from the four vendors with identical food stalls (small coke, sm chips and stale, greasy taco with a miserly amount of minimal ingredients is about $20usd per person).
All outside food and beverage is strictly policed and confiscated.
—And the nearby hotels prefer room parties to be on the down low or not at all but thats beside the point. —
What we’re doing to circumvent this food issue is pack the complimentary mini-fridge in the hotel room with groceries and eat in there.
So do we need to bring groceries?

Without talking about any specific venue, for which my ignorance may be listed as, 'complete', one is always allowed to bring food into their hotel/motel/bed and breakfast accommodations. That said, any other venue, a movie theater comes to mind, can forbid someone bringing outside food and beverages into their business/territory. They want to make money selling stuff to you, and have every right to forbid you bringing food/drink into 'their place'. Sneak in anything you want to, but don't complain if they ask you to dump your stuff into a trash can before you enter the establishment, or kick you out on your butt. You tried; you got caught. Accept the consequences and move on,
