The Duke of Birds
Early 40s, so I guess I'd be a greybill.
It probably depends upon personal point of view. For me, once I reached 30, I started aging in dog years. By 35? Each year started to feel like a decade in terms of experience. I'm not chronologically old (though my body does argue with me often), but mentally? Emotionally? I am ancient. Why is 30 considered old? I'm 26 in July and and still feel like a college student.
This term "greymuzzle" is so stupid to me, I'd never use it refer to anyone.
Greetings fellow furs
I was pondering whether there might be other so-called 'greymuzzles' on this forum to hang out, chat and be friends with? Age or distance doesn't really matter to me as such - don't get me wrong. I'm just curious. That's all.
Feel free to note me if you want to rescue me from this boring lonely Saturday
Hope to her from you soon..
Lyka

I suspect older (as a relative term) furries are getting a bit more common than they used to be, but many still drop out of fandom over time, either growing out of it (as in losing interest) or shifting to prioritizing family (late 20s to early 30s sounds about right for people having kids to me?) and career. Why is 30 considered old? We're not worthyUber Greymuzzle - drawing Social Security. I'll see your 30, double it and add some. Getting old sux, especially if you have arthritis.
Being in your 30s is not that old on the grand scheme of things tbh. >u>
Its not like we're all Olympic competitors-

So it's less that you're old in absolute terms, and more that you belong to an older demographic once you hit whatever arbitrary cutoff is the current consensus for greymuzzle status.
30's is not middle aged. I dunno about you, but I'm planning on living past 60-70. Thx--Exactly. Unless you're a pro athlete or an Olympian, you probably won't notice much difference, if any, between young adulthood and middle age. And the biggest
Yeah, that came out wrong. I'd like to think I haven't hit the mid-point either. People have different definitions for that sort of thing.30's is not middle aged. I dunno about you, but I'm planning on living past 60-70. Thx--
28, and same. *cries a little*I’m only 26, but I’m finding grey hairs already. Does that count?![]()

At 30, I started losing my hair. By 35, it was to the point where you could see right through it. I'm 39 now, and while it hasn't become worse, it causes me to despair just a bit. I don't consider myself a vain person, but when I was younger, I had a very thick head of hair. Now it's mostly gone.I hate that cool feeling I get on my head from my hair thinning...
THAT's HOW OLDE YOU ARE!?...Yeah, 39 here... I think at this point I've become an elder dragon. XD

( Psssst... all you 30-somethings... you are not old yet, Lol )
♡
Well, firstly, in the teenage (and early twenties) age of thirty, it seems something distant, not everyone lives so long. And secondly, thirty years is usually considered an age when you settle down and concentrate on serious activities: work, family, career, kebabs and beer with neighbors on weekends, visits to doctors…Why is 30 considered old?
