Yeah it looks nice, i can't wait to hear what your class thinks about it. you have to present it before them don't you?

well actually, other then my professor, we do group crits as a healthy exercise. They basically agreed with my professor on saying where's the absence of awkwardness. It was actually kinda amusing to hear my professor suggest things like, why not, try and get an image of like a hanger with like i dunno a bunny suit on it off to the side, or i dunno how bout behind this picture you have here you have like a picture of a penis or something.

lol, seems like your teacher takes it very serious

heh, he's pretty laid back and jokes around a lot but he really knows what he's doing. He understands too in the field anything can come across you so you'd have to be willing to do research and get into anything. In this case though he really just pointed out how we're suppose to have those factors in from his knowledge which i think he mention was only from that MTV special i think.

I think that you have a very cool teacher, This teacher is like the perfect example of a teacher who actually tries to teach you something.

Unlike my school. i am supposed to go to school 5 days a week. but i only go like 3 and sometimes 2. because the teachers we have here are a bunch of idiots.

RE: an online community

I like the poster and you do some interesting projects there...I did do a graphic design course a while back when I was on the backbenches but your talent for graphics impresses me (I was mainly in it to design logos and other smaller imagery rather than put together such intricate compositions). My girlfriend Louise draws "anthro" animals but only in the context of political satire and only because I told her my friend Dave ;):):) reminds me of a fox in a henhouse despite his clean-cut image so she drew him for me as a fox...or, in her words, a FOKSSSSSSSSSSSS.... It is also a better advert for this community than anything more sexual; I don't need to dress up as a wol to enjoy Louise's company (the feathers would exacerbate my asthma) but I know some people who are furries in all but name...quite a number of them, and the nearer you get to the top in this country, the more kinky it often becomes. For ten years we haven't had so much of a zoo in government, but before that...it was Prime Minister's Feeding Time every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 o'clock.

I've been browsing this site for a week or two now and I must admit it doesn't strike me as too ...graphic at all. So perhaps what your people think furries to be and what they actually are is the gulf that is separating you from top marks. And perhaps more projects like this might get people like Stoelbank to turn up more often over here as well. (What age are you, WanderingKojak?)

well day 3 so far, and i've gotten about..umm probably 4 hours of sleep total? Oddly enough I'm not really that tired, an occasional yawn every now and then. And all my peers here say to me, do you like drink massive amounts of caffeine or something? Just an occasional black tea and now drinking a juice smoothie.

So now to add the layer of raunchiness as suggested by my professor and ended up doing these:

I never really was that thrilled with my fem fur faces for whatever reason. So it was neat drawing that and public with everyone thinking that's just fine. They'd comment saying, hah, nice Kojak (not my actual name but is my name for now). And like every good art student, they'd offer advice. It went like, "why not draw them in sexual positions or even better! dude, you should totally take advantage of this chance!"

soo...yeah ended up doing one more:

debating still whether or not to include that one, but yeah, puts my point across on uneasiness if a new comer would visit the site. Definitely was an interesting feeling to be supported by classmates to draw furry porn for a class assignment.

and the final has come~

I got an A on it btw. And pretty interesting just the same on how my professor took it. He was pretty professional about it. Mostly concentrated on the design aspect of it and where I could have put some touch ups. Overall, pretty fun. I'll probably hopefully try and sneak in a furry touch up in future projects.

you could try saving this thread and displaying it in your classroom
say something like "This was their initial reaction when i introduced myself to them claiming to be one of their own. Obviously, i was not going to introduce myself as a normal person doing anything that could be considered a media piece on them. Speaking of which, i think i have some pictures of the last reporter to mingle openly, god rest his soul..."

edit: yes, i only read the first page of the thread, sue me =P

nice poster by the way, very deserving of that A

I officially decline from being included in your project, any and all data collected in part or in whole from me will be disavowed and any inclusion will be subject to subpoena.

Now you've got a legal crisis on your hands. CAN YOU POSSIBLY MANAGE. OH SNAP!
