it's a moth! it a dragon! no, it's a avali boi!
Hello furry artists
I'm pretty new to the fandom and I don't have a ref sheet or any pictures of them, yet for ether of my scalesonas dragon and shark. As you can imagine it pretty confusing to explain what he looks like in words. But I'm not good enough to really draw them correctly, could someone please make an picture of one or all of them?
you can do make it anyway you'd want since this is an request after all. But there are only two things I ask of you: you can do SFW and/or NSFW but if you do NSFW please give them the anatomically correct parts, and lastly don't squish the two fursonas into an hybrid.

Scaly artists are fairly rare :/ Can't draw one with a dog-style head after all xD

I was really hopping this wasn't the case. I: but I understand scalies are pretty hard to draw, I would know since I can't draw them correctly ether.

Well I hope you get something soon :D I have a friend who tends to draw anthro dragons a fair bit, if you pass me a description I could ask them if they want to make it?

One thing that might help get someone interested in drawing one or both is to give a short description. That tends to be less intimidating to artists when we have a direction to go in, especially for the dragon sona. There are so many colors, subspecies, ect that people may not want to take a stab at it for fear of disappointing you. =) Just a little tip based off of what I have seen of this sub forum.

I have descriptions on them on my profile but ill post it here too. ^.=.^
primary fursona: a anthro sea dragon that towers at 7 feet high, and stands in a digitigrade pose. Has a t-rex like snout, large deep emerald green eyes, and turquoise scales covering form his lower snout to his belly to his upper legs. Where there aren't the turquoise scales there are dark blue scales. Beginning on the beginning of his snout in between his eyes a line of black feathers with gold on their tips these run all the way down to his tail and act like an sort of hair for him. He has an hump in between his legs *like what a raptor would have* this falls away to his tail. His tail is very reptilian shaped and slinks to be 5 feet long. He has wings that reach out to be 10 feet wide and have an very thick membrane.

My secondary fursona: a anthro tiger shark *NOT and shark tiger hybrid* that stands at 7 and a half feet long, also stands in a digitigrade pose. has deep green eyes and dark brown hair with a fiery orange color at the tips, this hair is very long and untidy. His upper muzzle his back and some parts of his tail are a light cool grey and the rest of his body is white. has tiger-like stripes running across his body, His tail runs to be about 5 feet long and is mostly dominated by the fin at the end of his tail. Has webbed claws and feet. Usually wears dark colored cloths, an leather jacket or and black cloak.

I'll ask my friend if he's interested in the former, he's not online right now and I can't promise he'll say yes obviously, but here's hoping :)

Welp, heres what you described for the blue seadragon. You didn't really describe what sort of fins and things so i didn't include them. So it looks more like a regular dragon. lol
at least you have a jumping off point now. :3

.... this looks wonderful you even got the raptors pubis, the only thing you didn't get right is the wings which are supposed to be like flippers but that's only because I forgot to mention those 0.=.0 this is an perfect starting point.

OK, here's the full info about my shark ^.-.^

Head and neck: like most other anthro sharks his head is angularly shaped as his the tip of his snout dips down into the chin in a slightly curved 65 degree angle. His mouth spans all the way down his snout and ends under his eyes. His eyes are a deep green, and usually have dark circles around them. His face is shaped somewhat similar to a sergals, and has a patch of dark brown hair that turns into an fiery orange at the ends. That starts above his eyes and ends on the back of his head where the head and the neck meet this hair is long and untidy, and reaches down to his lower back. The upper part of his head, the back of his neck, and the outside of his ears are cool grey while the rest of his head is white. At the back of his head is his horse like ears. Has an thick neck to support the head, which is also where his gills are.

Body and tail: his body is slightly muscular and has black tiger like stripes beginning form his back an fading away in the middle of his front these can be also be seen on his tail. The cool grey creeps form his head into his back and makes its way downward onto the back of the tail and also makes its way into the front and mixes with the white scales there is also cool grey on the fin at the end of his tail which at the tip turn black has tail is about ¼ of his body length. Has a large fin in the middle of his upper body that is all cool grey excepting the tip of the fin which is black. His tail is very long and would drag on the ground when he’s too tried to hold it up and as two fins at each side of the bottom of his tail these are white and are black at the tips.

Hands and arms: the back of his arms are cool grey but as they fade the lower down his arms, at the middle of his upper arms is an small fin. Has claws instead of nails and has webbing in-between his claws

Feet and legs: Has large powerful legs and feet that is shaped like a lizards legs, he stands in a digitigrade pose the cool grey fades away like the arms, and has webbing in between his toes.

Adult info: you’ll have to message me as I’m not sure if that can get me banned from these forms or not.

Accessories and clothes: usually wears dark colored cloths, has a black chip in his right ear that covers an part of that ear, and has a ring of black on his left arm that has lines coming on each side out of it extends outwards creating tree like structures which branch out and eventually fade away into the scales.
