Anna Meets the Furries...? D:

Furries in the media again...

Where has this little gem been hiding?

Anna Meets the Furries

(^ all three parts...)

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the majorities of furries don't behave like that... (I can't speak from personal encounters, I'm the only fur I know of in my city)

Thoughts? Feelings? Pie?

This sounds familiar, if I am right then it is not new.

[edit]

Yep, it's old. Like all furry documentaries don't take it too seriously, ratings are earned through shock and awe so those are the type of people they will look for.

I've never seen it before.... sorry if it's an old thing ^.=.^;

I'm sure there are a couple of people here who haven't seen it yet; though if there are it will take a while for them to respond, they have to watch all three parts.

In part three of that documentary, I've read about Dennis Avner (who went through thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery and tattoos, filed his teeth into sharp points, had latex whiskers implanted and has a pair of green contact lenses to make himself look like a tiger) before. He's mentioned in a Ripley's Believe it or Not! book that I have.

Heh, the 3rd part is slightly edited to meet YouTube's TOS. IIRC, they had to remove the part with porn on Ursus & Wabbit's walls.

The full version (along with lots of other furry media appearances) can be found here:

May I exchange the pie for a can of tunafish instead?

well what is it?
I have seen the video on youtube before, but the sheer phailness of the people being interviewed ensured that I could not sit through more the half of it. They always pick the best and the brightest for these things, don't they?

Ah but of course, must show it in the best light ;)

Seen it. Many times. Anna is a conventional woman who doesn't like anything different (BBC aired a few of her other docs as well before BBC Choice was commuted to BBC Three) and she gets squeamish awfully quick. Sadly I cannot recall the others....

All this series proved for me is that even over the other side of the pond they're not above the same kind of sensationalist bullshit as us. They simply put on an air of curiosity to justify exploring a subject that's going to turn them off in the first place. We're Trash T.V, they're more Piss Tea & Bullshit Bickies.
