I used to have an OG Droid, but then it spontaneously crapped out, so I switched to an iPhone 4. Then after some software twiddling I got it back to life on CyanogenMod 7.10. So yes, I've dabbled in it.
My last endeavor was trying to remove the NAND lock on my dads Droid Incredible due to the spotty-at-best stock ROM.

Galaxy S2 running CheckROM Revolution HD 4.0 w/Siyah Kernel 2.3. Waiting on a USB jig off eBay to reset my firmware counter / provide brick recovery should anything happen. Tried like a dozen ROMs so far trying to get my battery life where I want it; This one's great so far.
