I'm not a furry if I have feathers.
Yesterday, I broke up with a really good friend of mine that I've known for awhile over a sensitive topic and (possibly) discrimination towards my disabilities. So, it had hit me quite hard so the only option I have as of now is to find a replacement in order to speed up my recovery and take my mind of them. One thing to note that they were good at maintaining constant communication which most of my friends lack.

So long story short, I need a new friend. If you wish to accept my "offer" you may ask me for my socials. But no offense towards minors, I prefer that you be 18 years or older. Thanks for listening.

What was the sensitive topic? Because for some people a stance on a certain topic is a deal breaker.

Then you're probably not going to find the friends you're looking for. You'd probably just find more people who turn away from you because of your stance. Sorry if that sounds harsh but people don't know what they're getting into. It's easy to just say "I'll be your friend" before jumping head long into lord knows what.

You said your stance led to the breakup of a friendship. Clearly either you have a messed up view of race or the other person did. So people will be taking a 50 / 50 chance that they'll be able to be friends with ya. People tend to be hard and set on their views of race so that'd be hard to change.

It was my fault for starting the subject, but not pissing them off, that's on them.

I'm just saying you aren't going to get many volunteers if you aren't up front. It's like signing a contract without looking at the fine print.

I see, that makes sense. Well that is what happened. But I also don’t wish for any judgment right of the bat too.
