Besides that I actually cannot join the military branches due to my disabilities. However I believe my grandfather on my father side of the family was a navy service member in WW2.
Both of my brothers are currently serving (one as a recruiter, the other as some sort of nurse) and my dad is a retired boiler technician. I thought about joining too, but the physical requirements made the lazy side of me win out.
