Request: Anyone up for this character?

I've been thinking that i really need something better done for Starren. Starren is a character of mine I've had for awhile now, while looking young in his late teens to young twenties, he is a hybrid dragon panther wolf, with life and death powers. I don't have anything good of him, but if anyone would like to take upon the challenge of making him, here's a basic drawing.

Edit: this challenge is still open for anyone who wants to do it.

That's a nice design, maybe a bit complex but I really like the bone wing and the global idea!

I don't get if the purple root-like marks on the right of his torso are indeed roots or maybe markings?
The dragon-bone-wing has its membrane made of fire?
The green thing around the scythe is a plant or maybe a snake to use the same symbol of life as the bowl of Hygieia?
Can you give me some more information about his face, I don't really get what's going on there. Is it some bones we see?
Last but not least, could you clarify what part of him are of a panther? Maybe the tail?

Oh definitely not too much to ask, this isn't my drawing so I'm lookin at it for a sec to make sure I'm explaining everything right.. ahem.. so he has one dragon wing, and one bone wing, the bone wing has a fiery magic effect because the person wanted to do it, you do not have to, but if you want to you can. The tail, is a panther tail, the thin long cat tail, ans yes it is hard to tell what is going on with the face, but basically the face has one of its eyes that looks scarred while the other isn't. The scythe, is a vine but it is sometimes a snake.. since he can make the vine a snake. But basically one half of him is scarred/skeletal while the other is not. How much bone you show does not have to be as much as the picture, but not much more then the picture shows. And the purple root like markings I'm not even sure what they are xd

That's all the time i have right now i gtg to school, but if there's something i missed or some other question you still have let me know and I'll get to it when i can.

That was my short description, so yes it's not my drawing, it is of him still anyway but dragon panther wolf hybrid with dragon wings, panther tail, half of him is scarred and skeletal while the other half is lively, his fur as you can see is dark, like a black wold or panther would be, forget whatever the root like things on his side are, but you can add some scar marks on his side. Keep any skeletal or scarred parts on one side though.

Sorry the questions come one after another. But I was also wondering what is behavior is like? How does he live with his powers (maybe it's a burden to him?)?

It's fine, questions are good. He lives pretty well with the powers, but the duality of opposite powers does affect him, like when having feelings or opinions he isn't death obsessed but isn't loving toward life either, yet he is at the same time, some grey area, but he is a more mysterious personality, and sometimes even wears a hood.

I tried a little something. Maybe I went too much on the skeleton side since it was nice to do with markers but I hope you'll like it!

Well, too much is better then too little in this case! Looks pretty nice, looks fairly good, i do like it, could use a little work, i mean, everything always needs a little work heh.. but good job.

yeah, it looks nice for a first time drawing off of that first pretty weak drawing.

I don't like to talk badly of others' art. If the one who has drawn it would see your comment, they might be hurt. I think that the drawing has good points like the nice design ideas.
It can also be impolite to criticism others' work when they haven't asked for it. I don't mind for myself but it can hurt people, so you may want to be careful about that.

Oh I'm not trying to be mean. The person who drew it just drew things for a few people warning it isn't all that great, ehich it isn't, most people aren't that great, but it is still much better then what i can do. I suck xD anyway, not to be mean, it's decent, no where near the best of course, it has flaws and good things about it. Just like all art.

I know you don't try to be mean, that doesn't mean you won't hurt people. I told you that because I saw it happen several times and some artist I know got art blocks due to not-wanted critiques, especially on their early years of learning to draw. And I saw a lot of artists saying their art are shitty or talking badly about it because it's difficult to be be confident about your work (disagree with them may not help, agree with them may not either). It can be difficult to know if they have simply enough hindsight with their work, if they want some attention or if they are low on their self-confidence.

I'm my worst critique even if I can find also good points in my art. But sometimes I'm not in the mood to hear critiques, especially when I feel down. It can then either give me strength to go over it or just change me into a sluggish thing without any will to draw. That's why I'm not submitting any art publicly when it's the case. But imagine the post you've done above was to critique my art and I went to the forum while feeling down and read it. I may feel hurt to see that. I may have not enough hindsight to not feel hurt.
That little won't make me go to art-block mode, but I'm an old hiker for art forums and critiques. But I may still have been hurt.

Apart from that I agree with you, all art has flaws and good things about it

Actually looks pretty good, same as before of course, eveything has goods and bads. And this ones mo exception, but I'd say good job, it looks good. If you wanted a little more personal critique/specific critique then I'll do it later. I'm just doing what i can with the time i have right now.
