I’m kind of new to the fandom, but from what I can tell my area only has one smaller furry con. Anthro Weekend Utah (AWU). Around 900 attendees. It’s not coming back till July 22. I kind of want to go to check it out, but I don’t know any other furries and might feel odd going alone… I might go for one day to check it out though. We have another con called FanX that focuses on a lot of different fandoms… kind of like comic con. It usually has over 100,000 attendees (one of the biggest fan cons in the country). We just had it last month… it was pure AWSOMNESS to be back. I would try to talk one of the people I go to FanX with into going to the furry con but I have a feeling they would go for the wrong reasons, haha. (Sorry, long)
Do many people go to furry cons alone, or are they more of an interactive type of thing?
