Well, a bit more than a week ago, I sneaked into this forum and rudely started posting without even introducing me, so, uhm, Hello to everybody!
I'm from Germany, more an introvert, maybe with a bit of social anxiety, but when I'm getting comfortable, I seem to have the tendency to "open up" a little bit more than I probably should. I am just not good in socializing, I guess. You could probably say, I am the typical introvert that needs to be "adopted" by an extrovert to go anywhere.
My first noteworthy contact with the furry stuff happened somewhere in 2014, when the Five Nights at Freddy hype train randomly rolled over me. So many artists drew Furry interpretations of the animatronics, and I fell pretty much in love with this style, even though I really didn't know what it was all about. I got in contact with the good stuff, the bad stuff and the weird stuff, until I hopelessly oversaturated myself, after which I completely abandoned everything.
Last year then, I got more and more back into all of this, and even started to get back into learning how to draw, even finally getting myself a proper drawing tablet (I indeed drew all of my FNAF-Stuff with mouse and Keyboard, imagine that...strangely looked better than half the newer stuff). In the meantime, I also started to write down my first story ever. But the feeling of being alone rose, as if I watched a nice party from outside of a window. And I also did barely know anything about the furry fandom, but even worse, getting only bad impressions by other people on a supposedly funny website I've wasted far too much time on, where furrys are hated (or it's another one of the internal jokes and I, as well as many other, didn't got the memo).
So, after a few months of a mild identity crisis, I got the idea to maybe register in a forum like this. Yea, I don't know what I am doing, and that's because I'm simply confused, and I just don't know enough, yet. I hope to find out more, and I hope to get in contact with different people, chat a bit, maybe even do some roleplay, I don't know, get a general feeling how things work.
