Blame all the worlds problems on fat people

You know, there are some obese people that don't, in fact, eat too much
There are plenty enough things that can contribute to weight gain... but to be fair, yeah, a lot of Americans are porkers simply because they don't know the meaning of moderation and working out.

But people's ideas of "Fat" vs. "Healthy" are skewed in my opinion, at least as far as women are concerned. Men can look however they want to, but *women* should be curvy and soft, not bony and stick-like.

"Curvy and soft" women I have absolutely NO problem with. Nothing wrong with a bit of padding... in moderation.

But it's the XXXXXXXXXXL extension seatbelt, "generate my own gravity field" tent-wearing obese types that just look gross.
I wound up sitting in the same row as a terribly obese "seatbelt extension" couple flying between Dallas and Madison once, and I was very worried that the flight attendant would make me swap places with one of them to get the trim on the plane right. As it was, I was surprised the plane (a small regional jet) didn't fly out tilting to one side with all the excess weight on one side of the plane...

That's not true. According to stereotypes, a real man should be muscular and have square chin, or be a pansy-boy like DiCaprio. And women should be either stick-thin, or have huge boobs and ass.
As to 'curvy and soft', this is like most women actually are, and as most NORMAL men prefer them, so where's the problem?

I weigh 270, last time I checked, and I'm more healthy than a guy with my height but of average BMI. I really stumped the doc with myself. =^.^=

I could never ever stand being fat, it would kill me.
I don't mind fat people though, but i find them very unattractive.

Note: I'm referring to very fat people and being very fat.

I weigh 185, but that's mostly because I got a big belly, but skinny arms and legs. Toothpick sized arms and legs :p

That's not fat in my book unless you are a dwarf.

I weigh around 80kg(~180pounds) and my height is 1,9m, neither fat nor thin imo.

Morbid obesity as opposed to being "husky, chubby, having a little extra padding, bit of a spare tire, love handles, zaftig, a little chunky".

I think that the world's standards for weight limit is unhealthy, especially since (it seems) that they don't take bone structure, metabolism, or even income in the matter.

My bones are built big, but I am all muscle. I go by composition, rather than weight. You could be 200 lbs of muscle and look about the same as a twig.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, he/she'd still be overweight.

exactly. i'm part norwegian, so i have some of that stocky build in me. i'm younger and a bit thinner than this woman, but it looks like we have a similar build. (PIC)

but if i were to lose enough weight to look like this (PIC) which seems to be "america's standard expectation", i would be very unhealthy

Hey, I'm like 6'2", 360lbs.....technically quite obese, though I don't feel that I am, really. Just somewhat fat. But it don't stop me from doing my job, or being a brutal metal beast on any of my chosen instruments!

To each there own...but I love fat, and I dig being fat, too

I think the article was talking about people so huge they can't stand or their weight will break their legs, so they need a scooter to ride around everywhere they go.
