Fair enough, whatever works. I just thought they were nice since it means the organiser can participate too without having to know who everybody got as their Santa.

The organizer participated in all the Secret Santa contests where I happened to be present. There is no problem if each participant keeps the recipient secret!

Hmm, for example.
I participated in the ACEO exchange. What does it look like? Those who wish to participate unsubscribe under the post (exchange administrators, too, if they want), then the names of each participant are driven into the window and distributed among themselves (this is done by the admin/organizer). Usually, the profile name is indicated in the questionnaire to fill out so that you can send the form.
Of course, the organizer knows who is drawing for whom, but he is the only one who knows his recipient. For the rest of the participants, it works as it should. Questionnaires are sent to participants in personal correspondence, because not everyone will give their email to strangers.
This also makes it possible to deny participants a future Secret Santa if they received art but did not draw it to another. If the organizer did not distribute the recipients, he would not be able to track the honesty of the exchange.

There is a special program where the names of each participant are entered (I like the one where you need to drive each one into a separate window). Then the "randomizer" button is pressed and its recipients appear opposite the name. Very simple. Haven't you played before?
