You do not know why he is doing it. Maybe he is doing it for money or maybe he thinks they are using him to exploit the public. Neither of which are LEGAL reasons for a lawsuit. You don't know why so do not be so quick to judge.

I guess some people have never heard of the word 'libel.' And because defamatory is such a broad term, it's a perfectly viable reason for suing a company.

Fact of the matter is, when the Enquirer did the same thing with Tom Cruise and he sued and won.

I'm pretty sure he'd be free to go after someone making a nice amount of cash off his name without himself getting a cut of it.

You still can not be sure what is going on inside of the mans head. Maybe it is both? What will he do with the money if he wins? You always have to stay in the present and can not associate guilt from the past unto the future.

Besides there may not be any other way to punish them.

What is he suing for then? Because he feels like it? Because he needs the money to sculpt a mountain into the likeness of his face?

If didn't like the Facts, he could of stopped them earlier.
If anything, the Facts made him a really popular Pop-fad and brought him more limelight.

Actually, Chuck Norris enjoys the Facts. He thinks that they're HILARIOUS. The one about cancer? One of his favorites, as well as the one with the 'Under his beard is another fist'.

What's going on here is someone making money off of the Chuck Norris name, without permission. The only defense here is Satire, such as the Family Guy episode... ...except that the sole focus of the book is on jokes based off of Chuck Norris.

Forgot about that one, although I was thinking of Delta Force.
