Well if you are good at chemistry, Chemical Engineering has got some pretty awesome shit going on right now. One of the professors at my university developed a polymer that captures mercury from contaminated water, and glows when it does so. Another professor developed a molecule that glows bright as a flashlight when it comes into contact with certain types of cancer cells, making it possible to visually remove cancerous areas. Seems glowing things are popular right now.

I'm currently halfway through my senior year in high school, and I plan to get a bachelor's in biochemistry. I hope to use that to get into med-school for neurology and possibly enroll in a M.D./Ph. D. program. That last bit could end up happening several different ways, but atm I'm pretty intent on ending up with both a Ph. D. and an M.D. BUT that's about six years away from even starting, so it very well may change. I'm kinda keeping my eyes open for IT and counseling just in case I need a backup or change my mind, and if all else fails I can always perform as a magician.

I am currently doing geography, I want to specialise in either tectonic geomorphology or glacial geomorphology.

Went to college years ago. Ended up being too much for me. Wish I could finish now that I don't have the obligations I used too, but it's impossible to get a loan these days, and I'm too dumb for any kind of scholarship. My street education is flawless, however, but it doesn't get me shit.

I went to college straight out of high school. Flunked my first semester, dropped out my second. Started working instead for a couple years, went back, flunked again. Found a boyfriend, lost my virginity and came out to my inlaws as gay (who were actually accepting). Went back to school, straight As two semesters in a row so far

I basically had no hope for myself and was in denial about being depressed. I live in a homophobic town and obviously that wasn't helping.

I'm only going for my associates in Information Technology, and unless I REALLY want to continue to a bachelors I'm finding a decent job and moving the fuck out of this town ASAP.

Engineering majors require all 4 semesters of calculus and 2 semesters of physics, though, and I don't really want to take more of either one... Hmm...
Well, if I don't do CHEN, I'm planning to at least do a chemistry minor, so I'll be taking a few of the right classes if I ever decide to switch, I guess.

Oh, my degree was in Computer Science. When I go for my Masters, I'll either stick with CompSci or I might go for A.I.

Graduated high school, had my mother effectively force me into community college by way of guilting money out of my grandparents and then passing the duty of repaying them onto my dad, then didn't go back after the first semester because it was too much money that I didn't have to be in the same exact classes and environment I was in with high school.

Community college is both cheaper and can get me into a bachelor's degree program where I will have already had the basic classes and education of a 2 year college student.

Truth be told, my campus is actually three colleges where the credits between them transfer quite easily. It won't be much of a problem to get into their bachelor degree program for biology when I get my associates. I will have lessened the debt by quite a lot this way as well so I saw no reason to not do it.

I am hoping to get into a master's program eventually. I was thinking about medical studies.

Totally ain't a single thing wrong with not going to college. I know several people who didn't and they're all pretty successful. One of them is rocking a BMW as an insurance salesman.
