Welcome.
More craft into your life! And into this forum. Why is there no crafts topic on every forum where I am a member?! This is outrageous.
Hold my beer pipe, I'll fix it!
So. I think, that you can upload felting here (whether it's a toy or a flat craft), I'm also completely IN FAVOR if you are fond picture of wool.
It's a fox with a smoking pipe. I call it "flat felting", I'm not sure that this branch of felting has an adequate name. Just "feltboot" (a play on words, in my language).

Felting crafts blow my mind. Is this all felt? I’ve never heard any felting terms, sorry for my ignorance, I’ve only see videos of needle felting cat heads, but it looks amazing.
Oh, it's okay. I haven't heard anything but "felting" myself, literally. Animal toys look extremely realistic, especially when the craftsman uses the so-called "reverse" needle (she hooks the wool fibers and pulls them out of the toy).
I'm glad you like it.
Is this all felt?
Yeah. To be quite precise. This is a felt base (polyester), wool felting and a little loose wool for smoke and hairs.

This is wool painting. The wool fibers simply lie in several layers on the yellow felt.
This thing can be called fragile, because part of the wool can simply be blown away. Nevertheless, if you press down the image and let it rest for a few days, the wool fits snugly enough to the base so that you are not afraid to pick it up. It's not worth ironing (there is always a risk of shifting the fibers)!

Two felted toys that I made. In the future, I would like to make more complex toys on the frame so that they can be changed position.

This is a cute caterpillar of the Japanese Emperor butterfly. The side photo shows that she has a fluffy back.
It's a brooch. It can be hooked somewhere with a pin.
The size seems to be 2.5 inches (5 cm) tall and 1.2 inches wide (2 cm).
