Critiques on my art style.

I posted something like this before, but as it is already old and I've gotten better, I decided to make a new thread :)
I used to draw in FireAlpaca, and then on CloudAlpaca. After December 27th (my birthday), I got SketchBook Pro 7, which is awesome for sketches. Then on March, I bought Clip Studio Paint after I saw a journal talking about a 70% discount.

Now what I'd like to know is... how much have I improved? And what is what I have to improve? I'll put some links here, since the beginning:

1. http://18gingasoldier.deviantart.com/art/Zasha-370511600 This was one of the rare traditional pieces I have on DA, made on early 2013.

I used SketchBook Pro 7 once in a while, but not much.

I'm not insanely popular, but I started to realize people did like my art. But I want to expand my knowledge of making anthros and such. But I'm not talking about that here :3

What did you think of my art? On what did I improve? Is there something that's still wrong?

If anything, hands down you have a very good grasp on faces and expressions, though it would be nice to see more of a variety of those since most of them involve a smile of some sort. The best shading you had was from the set that you said you started using clip studio paint for as they look more natural. I like your backgrounds too, though making them a bit sharper and lest blurry would be a good improvement. Probably the biggest thing you could improve on is your body anatomy. It's not terrible, but in some image's its a bit awkward or difficult to tell how the body is positioned in proportion to the head. You're probably better at heads since most of your early work is headshots. How I personally practice anatomy is I take a picture of an animal off of like google images and try to make sort of a line skeleton sketch of it from different angles to see how the joins bend or the curve of the spine or the proportion of the chest and legs to the head. I'm glad you're getting commissioned, and that you're open to working hard and to keep learning and improving your artistic skills!

What I see that is absolutely obvious is that OP is good at EMULATING style but clearly doesn't understand the underlying anatomy and structure.
This is made obvious from the fact that none of the pictures seem to have a personal style. They all look like eyeballed versions of Disney/Dreamworks professional drawings.
They don't feel like someone's personal stylisation of a certain subject.

There's also the fact that the faces are well emulated but the bodies are stiff and look very static.

Style emulation is not a bad thing in itself , but you might want to study the science behind bodies , anatomy and all that stuff so that your drawings don't look so eyeballed and that they end up looking more like "you".

What DOES my username mean...?
You've improved a LOT, mostly in the digital arts department. By that i mean your figures and faces are getting better but the way you apply them to canvas is better. They look cleaner. i'd be interested in seeing you draw up some more dynamic poses for your characters though. You've got the faces down, now let's see some bodies. There's only a few in your gallery and i'm curious what some scampering puppies or a playful cat would look like. The bodies you have are still good but you need to practice giving them some motion. Study up on how (cartoon) canine anatomy works, play around with some basic body frames and work your way up to something a little more energetic. it might help to practice drawing whole sheets of paws, legs, body frames, etc. There are some really helpful tutorials out there, especially on dA.

Keep it up!

Thanks for all critiques! I took some inspiration of style from other artists -like Ifus-, and maybe something from Disney, and maybe they're looking too much like Disney/Dreamworks, friends have commented on that detail before too. I should go back to my old drawing notebooks and spot something unique in them to apply them on my current "style".

I will admit I've been missing some inspiration and thus I'm not really doing much, except headshots and such. I'm also missing diverse expressions on the faces (sometimes I do get bored of doing smiles because I don't really know what good idea I have for it). And when I don't have many good ideas, I sort of only do headshots. I should challenge myself more!

I never really thought about doing a line skeleton inspired by a Google Image and then draw over it, PrincessParrot, thanks!
