Does anyone else use a second facebook for furry hobby activities?

Basically, I'm nervous about potential professional contacts googling my name and getting a misconception or wrong idea about me, so I made a second facebook with my sona nsona name where I can post all my updates I don't want in-laws or coworkers to see. Thw thing is, I so much prefer my new account that I stopped updating thw one in my name. The friends and family I actually keep up with know my hobbies and either encourage me or don't care.
The reason for my post is, is it possible that my new main profile is actually obmoxious? Does anyone else do this, or have experience with it?

I'm an artist, and just treat it as characterdesign stuff. Even made a post about how I don't see why I should pretend I'm not a furry, calling my sona a mascot when I drew her... was kinda obvious anyway.
I use a different name, but when I shared my art in two Furrygroups this week it included a link to my FA and I'm sure people could see that post. (have my FA account closed for guests though.)

Concept art people and illustrators are pretty niche and alternative themselves, that comes in handy. And I don't post the usual cringy rainbow sparkle dog furry stuff. I guess I'm seen somewhere inbetween this subculture and concept art/illustration.

I never do anything furry related on social media, except for Furaffinity, I even have a different email address for furry stuff.

Huh. Can't help ya here. I am among those odd people who have never used Facebook, at all. I considered it to maybe look up old friends, but I guess I never saw the point in it, in terms of my own day to day life. But I'd say it'd be wise to make a second account, just for your furry self/fursona, just to be safe.

I don't even use Facebook, so I am afraid the answer is no. I'm a big fan of furry Discord though.

I thought you had a Twitter
I don't really count it as social media seeing as I don't do anything social on it. But if we're to include Twatter as social media, then my previous statement is false and should be disregarded.

I don't have a second facebook account for my fursona, no. I think I've liked a furry youtuber or two's pages with my main account, but I hardly use that one as well.

I still have problems accepting that I'm a furry
I don't have facebook, but even if I would have, I still wouldn't do it. I don't do it on steam or anywhere. Heck, I'm even embaressed to put any furry stuff here, to this forum. :p

I've never had a facebook...the closest thing I ever get is tumblr which I never really use much anymore. I'm also pretty big on keeping my real name out of the internet as much as possible.

A lot of people have furry social media accounts.

I have a furry twitter for viewing art; personally I prefer it over FA. It's easy to bookmark things (one can just like or retweet them) and I regularly get new art to look at whenever I open up the app. Also, it's quite good for discovering new artists, I've found. Oh, and I like the user interface.

Only thing I've found is that it's not very good for talking and meeting new people. Twitter is kind of like an on-going popularity contest, where only the people with lots and lots of followers have any real visibility. Everyone else is just shouting into nothingness, when they make a post.

I kind of feel bad for people I sometimes see on there, who dedicate so much time posting stuff, only for very few people to ever even acknowledge that they viewed it. I have nothing to post on there myself, though, so it doesn't really affect me.

I'm more active on Instagram. Facebook's rarely been used nowadays and I think of deleting my account soon, but yea, I use Guifrog as my current avatar there. I mean... Every single friend of mine already knows I'm a frog at this point, so.

I used to post more pencil human portrait works and studies on Instagram, but kinda suspiciously the number of followers went up after I got started with character headshots. ;P

That's where I'm at. The intention was to use it for only other people in the community but I got sick of the clutter and shitposting on my main account. So much so, I added the few friends and family I still liked to my fursona and now that's my main.
