Does Anyone know the origin of this dragon?

I've asked in a few places, but no one ever knows. I found this like 8 years ago, and was actually in class at the time. I saved it and emailed it to myself and never found the site again.

Does anyone recognize the art style from some furry artist out there? I was told this would be the best place to ask.

Not a clue....it has one of those super annoying hard to figure out signatures.

If i'm not mistaken, Flare was the name of Steel Brightblade's dragon in "Dragons of Summer Flame" from the Dragonlance series.

Flare, if im not mistaken, was actually a blue dragon though, not fitting this description one bit. Probably a popular name for a dragon

Yah, I'm sure theres tons of dragons named "Flare" out there lol. That only makes this more difficult.

hmmm...it reminds me a lot of old Neopet fanart. The style looks familiar, but I can't remember an artist's name. Ugh. Sorry, no help. I'll keep an eye out though, I'm usually good at recognizing styles.

Neopets.. really. I haven't heard of those in a long time. I remember it being some random google dragon website I found. Not sure though! could have been a repost from one of these neopet areas.
