Fashion thread

Ya boy
Okay, I know at least some people here are into clothes and whatnot. So, why not have a general fashion thread?

Discuss, ask for advice on how to dress, things you're planning on buying, What Are You Wearing Today (WAYT), trends, all that fun stuff. Menswear, women's clothing, anything goes. Don't be afraid to post an outfit!

Right now I'm getting more into streetwear, but goddamn it's expensive. Topman, PLNDR and ASOS have been serving me pretty well for affordable clothes. Thinking about copping this camp cap sometime. Thoughts?

I go to the store and try to find stuff that looks good.

I've also noticed designers like Gucci make the most hideous looking things sometimes.

Ain't NOBODY telling ME how to dress B)

Edit: That isn't *exactly* true though now that I think of it.

I have A LOT of Rebel Spirit and a good amount of Affliction.

I just like their style.

I wear a lot of punk stuff unless I'm feeling furfaggy(which is 75% of the time). Right now I'm wearing a black shirt with a giant upside down bat head on the front, camo shorts, and camo chuck taylors. If I don't have my hair did I'll be wearing one of many of my fox racing hats.

i pick up clothes out of the street that people leave there. yes i wash them.

or i go to goodwill and spend cheap on things that last.

fashion is p dumb, as long as you are clean and clothed it works for me. life is too short to give a fuck if those shoes go with these pants and shirt. also everything in a mens magazine about how to dress is absolute bullshit. literally everything.

It's Me Gordon, Barney from Black Mesa
I wear what recently just came off the line from the 1979 Pyongyang Fashion Expo.

Jeans, polos/button-ups and some kind of black name brand shoe (I quit white shoes a long time ago). I usually wear dark colors like blacks, browns and blues.

I usually go to Sears for my clothes.

I've been liking the "pastel goth" shit that's popped up all over the place, lately.
It looks like stuff I've already been piecing together, but now I have way easier access to it.
And space clothes. I must buy ALL of the space clothes.

As for fashion in itself, I hate expensive for expensive's sake, and telling people that they must follow some stupid trendiness guidelines outside of "don't wear your fucking stomach-bearing "Sexxy Kitty" tube top and boxer shorts and flip flops to work" stuff.
That shit always pissed me off.

I've only recently fallen into it over the past year. One of my favorite places to go is H&M. They have good style and very affordable. I've definitely got a good amount of long sleeved button-ups in print, solid and plaid, light sweaters/jackets, and slim-fit slacks from there. For jeans I mostly stick to Levi's 511. I've definitely grown to be the more dressy type of person and most often wear a collared shirt. For shoes I mostly stick to my classic style Chuck Taylors, or charcoal grey Toms.

You can actually find good stuff at Goodwill, and be stylish about it.

If you know how to pull it off =P

Personally, I like looking good

I take pride in my appearance, and people treat you differently because of it.

Brooklyn Xpress.

Why? Damn fine jeans and shorts. Baggier and more lose fit, the better. Unfortunately not a lot of examples on the internet, but that picture should do fine. I also tend to cross Tru Spec clothing with mall rat stuff. It's just who I am. 8)

Aww yeah. Goodwill and other second hand shops are where I find most of my nice skirts and sometimes heels. I'm a little pickier about shoes, though, it's gotta look like no one else put their feet into them or else I just can't do it. D;

I also have a lot of clothes from pinupgirlclothing. My look tends to go between retro, boho, or just a nice pair of shorts + flats + (insert fandom tshirt here) if I wanna show off my leg tattoo in the summer.

I wear a lot of cargo pants and tanktops/musclevests/shortsleeve shirts with the sleeves cut off (Except for my green Red Cross t-shirt) and on occasion one of my indian shirts with black and red striped arm warmers. I enjoy the goth look, it suites me quite well =3

I'm not one to really care about fashion much at all. I rarely buy clothes, so every day I normally put on jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket or hoodie. For some odd reason, I have about 5 blue t-shirts.

I mostly just wear tshirts and jeans. At work I have to wear polo shirts and nicer pants. Bout it for my wardrobe.

SOMETIMES I WEAR A COLLAR FOR FURRY PRIDE!

That's a lie.

Man, do I need to bone up on my wardrobe. I wear mostly an odd assortment of Jeans and medium t-shirts, and then put a hoodie or leather jacket on over that when it gets cold. And I'm so skinny that my medium shirts are basically hanging off me. :x
Basically everything I own, short of my suits, is lackluster and incapable of drawing any positive attention. It's really unacceptable. :I
I can try to sound gayer, guys, I swear! :X

FireFeathers

Mr. Red Flag
Mostly wear just a regular t-shirt and jeans, though since I work from home, I'm in my pajama pants 90% of the time. I know how to dress up and i've got a sense of fashion, but I just don't really.....care, lol.

With summer coming, I just want to say that I really really wish I could afford this swimsuit.. I need a new one anyway. Mine are old and too big on me now :C

SUMMER FASHION

Rilvor

Formal when angry
I am mostly Trad Goth in my daily appearance.

I am looking to do something a bit more open for this summer, perhaps a nice Utili-Kilt with some fishnets and my knee-high shitstompers.

EDIT2!!: On second thought, there is something else I was wondering - what's people's opinion on women with shaved heads? I hate doing my hair to the point that I could just rip it off. But my bf tells me they aren't very attractive. On the other hand I don't want to deal with my shitty hair either. Wat do?

I used to be really into fashion design - I wanted to be the next John Galliano. (I mean his design style that mixes haute coture clubwear with historical, punk, and fantasy elements, is very similar to mine. I definitely don't want to emulate the racist crap he's become associated with.) I stopped designing clothes due to a combination of irritation that I have no interest in clothing for my own body type, nor any opportunities to design clothing for anyone who would produce them, whether virtually as MMO clothing or physically as real clothing. I still have a yahoogroup of my designs, if anyone has a yahoo login and wants to look: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wickeddelight/files/

I'd probably go back to designing again if I ever found a way to get my designs created.

Blue is good.

I've got a thing now for dark reds. And suits.

Shaved heads? Do what you want.

As a matter of fact, check out this candid shot I stole of Julia Roberts while she was volunteering on the SSV Normandy. I don't know what happened to her, but I'll bet whatever it was involved chewing the nuts off a honey badger. IMHO: shaved heads on chicks is cool, IMHO. Just make sure it's something you want to do, and can ... wear? Well?

Yes. People who see chicks with shaved heads see them as tough. Some people will respond to you differently, so be prepared for it.

Attractive to whom? Him? I know a lot of people who find women with shaved heads to be extremely attractive, me being one in particular, but it also depends on the woman I guess. There are a lot of men who I don't think look good with shaved heads so.. -shrug-

Do what you want and what makes you feel good. Hair grows back.

I mean look
at
these
women
