The Legend of Rah and the Muggles, Twilight, and Atlanta Nights- the unholy trinity of bad books. This is if you really don't like her.

My teacher always gave me books to read, even though I hated reading books as a child (and still somewhat dislike fictional books). The ones that I remember actually liking were probably My Side of the Mountain and Hatchet... only those stick out for some reason. Then, there was If you give a mouse a cookie :3

As of the second-grade, my favorite book was Frank L Baum's The Wizard of Oz. I actually did a book report on it for class.
Before that, and still, I absolutely adore The Eleventh Hour, by Graeme Base.

Other favorites include:
The Nancy Drew series (holy shit she finally has a cell phone)
The Harry Potter series
The Healer's Keep
anything written by Andy Rooney
Eragon/Eldest (Brisingr sucked balls, and when is the Inheritance coming?!) by Christopher Paolini

Hand. Cannot. Erase.
Star wars Jedi order books. They were the best

Dandy is indeed good. I like the rivalry portrayed between the two.

Yeah, I loved that, especially with the occasional crossovers and cameos and whatnot. I could never decide which of the two I wanted to buy at the shop, let alone which one was actually better. And damn, I can remember my favourite characters... Beryl the Peril, Desperate Dan, The Bash Street Kids, and most of all, Calamity James, he was my very favourite. A story of a lad who has all the normal things in life, but has so damn much bad luck, so much that it's almost cruel, and he always tried to lead a normal life, I thought. Inspirational, kinda.

Also I went down memory lane and googled up those old comics. It's been around 75 years, and Desperate Dan and Bananaman are getting the can and now there's gonna be a lot of pop culture crap put in those comics. So much upset.

Yes! I always used to read those books when I was a kid, my favorite story was "The Thing" from that book. Also liked reading those Goosbumps books, and the Harry Potter Books

Oh man, Goosebumps. I remember them being all the rage in school. I never read any of them, though. ;-;

When I was a child I remember reading a lot of Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. Loves me some George's Marvellous Medicine.
