Tastes are not disputed! I'm also a big fan of raw meat. So yes.
I've met so VERY FEW people who actually do this, much less admit it openly!
I'm a huge fan of raw steak, cubed. Used to sneak this with my lunches, till I got 'Outed' one day at the site, and then took greater steps to ensure I could enjoy my meal in peace/satisfaction.
Can't say the same affection applies to anything pork/fish/fowl however. Don't even like sushi, and I've tried, repeatedly, to give it a go.

People are usually very surprised and even scared when they find out about it. I don't eat raw meat in company so as not to embarrass anyone. Most people are just disgusted at the thought of it, I don't blame them. People perceive raw meat and organs as something nasty. They get scared, and it's funny.
My favorite meat is rabbit, chicken and salmon. But I also like beef and pork. Pork is the most dangerous meat, of course. But I never eat anything that makes me suspicious. And I must say that my stomach is absolutely delighted with eating raw meat - fast saturation and no discomfort. Very tasty, I drool even while cutting the carcass.

I would like to try horse meat, venison and turkey, among other things. I've already eaten stewed horse meat - and I liked it more than beef, which I've been eating all my life. I also try eat turkey mince dumplings - it was incredibly delicious.
I really love sushi! But I prefer raw salmon rolls. I don't like eel and smoked fish too much in sushi, but I eat them too.

Are we moomin, or are we dancer?
For me it's Garlic, turmeric and fenugreek. They are a staple I use when cooking churrys

Those were the combination I used too. I haven't found fenugreek here yet though and people act like they have never heard of it. x3

I didn't hear:0

You've not heard of fenugreek? It's a herb used in south asian cooking and *I think* Armenian and possibly Levantine/Mediterranean.

It isn't very nice by itself, but it helps reinforce other spiced and gives dishes a nice 'rounded out' taste.

It's rather common in Indian and Middle eastern cuisine, but still rather exotic here in the West. Even tho it's in most Churry blends. We have a spice shop here in town that sells all kinds of exotic stuff in pure form. Even stuff like ground scorpion chilli and california reaper. That's basicly hell in a yar.
