Finding People in your area?

Hello everyone,
I just want to know how to you find people in your area or local meets?

Just to let you know, I live in Idaho in college and I've only met one other fur.
I've never seen anyone in costume ever and I don't have money to travel to cons outside the state.

How should I go about finding others if there are others in Idaho.

In addition to that sticky link provided above, you should look on the main FA site for different groups relating to your area. I'm pretty sure just about every state in the US has a group for themselves, some areas even have county or city-specific groups if there's enough of a gathering there.
IdaFurs - that should get you going in the right direction.

Your state may also have its own furry forum. My province does (bcfurries.com) and that makes it much easier to know of other furs in my area.

Search FA for your state and see if a group pops up, join it. Check the Location thread here and see who's near you.

Also note me where in Idaho you're at, I may be able to send you to somebody who's started a good size fur group there.

Im in Almont, MI and it seems to be rather hard (after searching the interbutts) to find furs in my area that are relevantly close.
