Main Site Fix the Rating System

Right so basically, the lack of consistent rating on the site is generally just atrocious.
Why does blatantly mature fetish content get put as 'General' at times? It's just generally ridiculous.

Leaking, messy diapers or pretty blatant fetish art should be marked as mature, or another rating should be added, as quite frankly a lot of the content on the site is not even remotely approaching 'suitable for all-ages.'.

While I don't particularly want to mention it, blatantly fetish content being accessible by minors could cause a large amount of legal trouble if some overzealous groups set their sights on the site, which would likely be a mess in of itself.

This bit always confused me. Not that General = PG-13, that makes perfect sense given the site minimum age.

But at that point why have a rating between "Mature" and "Adult"? Both of those are ostensibly "18+". I know there are offered descriptions, but if the only real purpose is effectively "not-adult" and "adult", seems like it'd be simpler all-around if just the two ratings existed. (This is also already quasi-done, with the SFW/NSFW toggle/switch that the site already offers.)

I have no idea; that’s been part of FA longer than I’ve even had an account. Like… having it be a distinction between nudity and sex (as a “what do I want to see?” boundary) makes some degree of sense to me, so I’m guessing that’s probably part of it?

in my opinion, change the tags that 'mature' is now 'adult' and 'adult' is now 'extreme' which would be for extreme/disturbing fetishes like snuff, scat etc.

I think the rating tags are quite outdated.

The Mature tag would change in the Adult tag, and the Adult tag would change in the Extreme tag, because it would be including extreme stuff like scat, watersports, etc.
