OT- I don't see many people actually using PBS so for all intensive purposes saving money when we are in desperate need of it I can see as an ok move.

First- don't double post.

Second- Yes in this style of government majority rules. I find this good because generally I fit into the majority.

Third- As for their promises, it is up to the people who voted for them to make sure they keep their promises- you can vote someone out if they fail to meet the expectations of the people who put them there.

PBS is a great news source. Far better than any US-based private broadcasting company so losing it would be incredibly bad. I don't see a need for most of our military budget.... I'd think that could take a few cuts first considering PBS is an infinitesimally small part of the budget and would have zero effect on our federal outlays.
