Is their a website devoted to Furry Events around where you live?!

Post it here, and help the new furs meet the local furry community!

If you don't have one, somebody ought to start one, eh?!

For instance, less than a month ago, a new events site was created for us Alberta Furs, allowing those of us in

Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and beyond a chance to create, post, and keep up with Furry Events near us!

Most people coordinate meetups on a more personal level these days for privacy and safety.
Very rarely do you see non-convention run public meetups being advertised these days.
With how much cruelty has been going on lately, I can't blame anyone for keeping things on the DL anymore. :(

I tried to create a retro >2000s anime club/meetup a few years back locally and I only got one taker in the span of 6+ months.
It's kind of hard!

The last few events posted to our Alberta site attracted between 25 and 45 furs!

I guess things are just different here in Canada!

We seem to be more open and inclusive about our furry events!

I can certainly understand why US furs are more cautious though!

That have events like house parties, cafe and bar gatherings, or hiking and park walk type events, not full on conventions!

But I suppose in a way, cons count as well, especially one in the Southern Hemisphere, so thanks for adding it!
