The thing that really did it for me was the old Disney movies I adored when I was little. I thankfully have not seen anything involving Alice in Wonderland yet, but I'm sure I'll trip over it one of these days...

Well i am 50% Inuit. Born & raised in Alaska and i know a bit of the totem stuff from my mother. My fursona is my totem animal. IDK about anyone else

Exactly why I'm here too. My spiritual beliefs lend a certain interest to the fandom, and I'll draw art relating to it (its far from furry though), but its definitely not part of it.
My fursona is a character. Nothing more.

I don't really know what to say to be honest. As I had mentioned I had gone around therian and Otherkin forums enough to be curious about my spiritual element and I know enough about Shamanism to know where the idea comes from.
I enjoy howling and growling and snarling and all that stuff and sometimes I do feel quite animalistic. That said, I do not do those things because because I believe I am channeling a, say, wolf or because I believe I was one in a past life. I just do because I feel like doing so. I obviously like wolves hence it is a primary choice for a fursona and I do consider myself a somewhat spiritual person but I doubt any behaviour or feeling signifies something spiritual.

I'm spiritual to a point, it's how i figured out my spiritual name and adapted it to my fursona who i believe is an extension of myself.
