Furry sports

hello furies

I've just had the mispleasure of watching my soccer team Everton lose 3-1 to our city rivals Liverpool. Between the many drinks I had to forget this terrible result it got me to wonder what other teams are followed by furries on the forum. Sporting events aren't something I've seen talked much about on the forum, so if you have a team you love, please tell me who they are. As for myself I love Everton and Denver Broncos.

I follow baseball, and that's pretty much it! A Baltimore Orioles fan, here, and I also like the Detroit Tigers, as I was born in Detroit.

Our first game is Monday, so I'm all excited...it's such a relaxing game to watch, for me; seems somehow calming, and I like the slower pace. Oh, and the mascots.

But yeah, not a ton of furry sports fans...I have met some hockey loving furs from Finland and Canada, that seems to be the sport I most often see furries following, at least those up north...and also some soccer fans, across the pond.

eSports I watch from time to time.

Sports? I'd rather watch paint dry. I watched a bit of sports as a kid, though. But I LOVED playing football. If I weren't playing games on my oldass PC, I'd be outside, playing football. Went to several tournaments, too. Real fun shit.

The only sports furries play is yiffing, shitposting and fursuiting; one of which I'm a pro at.

Huh...Bowling might be able to lay claim to being the official furry sport...you see a lot of fur-suited bowling meets.

Though I've always wanted to set up a fur-suited boxing match at a con, because I think that would be especially hilarious.

Everton 1-1 Manchester United, we conceded a last second penalty. When I was a kid, about 8 years old Everton lost almost every week and I came home with my dad in tears. On the way home he saw how upset I was, so he turned to me, crouched down, put his hands on my shoulders and smiled. 'Son,' he said, 'the thing you need to know about supporting Everton is that it's about suffering,'. He stood up and walked on, me following behind. I'll say this for my dad, he knows just what to say when time are tough and you need a boost :)

I never got into watching sports. It's kinda boring for me. Playing sports is fun though.

I mainly follow American Football, Baseball, and Hockey. I love watching those sports all the time and they can be a lot of fun to watch........when my teams are winning. Lol

I'm a Red Sox fan through and though. (Go, Boston! :D) Sadly, though, a pair of red socks isn't much of a mascot, ain't it? :p

My only experience with sports, if we exclude cycling and swimming as sports, are when I went to some professional baseball games with some of my friends when I was a lot younger.

I wouldn't even wish for my worst enemies to undergo such torture.

But they do have some cute Mascots! Time to take ya to see The Detroit Tigers!

Everton 0 - 3 Chelsea. Oh Everton, why do you hurt me so much. Does anyone else support a team that has brought them pretty much nothing but misery over their lifetime?

I love a cute mascot too and always wanted to be one. However, feast your eyes on the poor creature below. This is Mr Toffee, Everton former mascot and he looks like he's been conjoured from your childhood nightmares. Everton are nicknamed the toffee men because of a famous toffee shop that used to be near the ground about 100 years ago. Mr Toffee was inspired to both honour our rich history and destroy the innocence of every child he encountered like a football mascot version of Pennywise the clown from the movie IT. If anyone can find a mascot as creepy as Mr Toffee post it here.

Dang, I could imagine furry LARPing in a dragon suit would be awesome,
but that'd be hard as heck to do

What DOES my username mean...?
i read "furry sports" and the first thing that came to mind was "sports that furries play". Like full-contact tail chasing, leashed triathlons, competitive petting, tennis wherein the point of the game is to fetch the ball), or the international fur-pile endurance yiffing championships. Or, yanno...just like regular sports but played by people in fursuits. All most of which i would toooootally watch. Regular sports; not so much.
