Fursona help

hey guys! I'm super glad I finally made an account on here and I'm officially apart of the community! I haven't actually gotten to meet anyone yet and I'm more than happy to meet people! I'll link my account down below;) but that's not exactly what I came here for. I came here to find out if someone could point me in the right direction for fursonas? Or in my case, I guess the technical term is "scalesona" but anyways, there's so many artists out there and I'm kind of over whelmed with who I should choose to make my fursona come to life? So, in more simpler terms. How did you guys go about getting your fursona drawn? Did you draw it? Did someone else? How much did it cost? What's proper ediqute when it comes to this stuff? And basically anything else that has to do with fursonas that could help me out, thanks! (P.S. this technically could have gone in the 'technical/arts' section, but I thought it had a little more to do with fursonas, plus I'm kinda new to the community, and forums in general. So I hope I wasn't a total screwup and wasted your guys time, but thanks for any help I can get!!!!):3

If you are looking to get your sona to be drawn, try looking in the art sales and trade section. There are usually a bunch of people who would be willing to draw your sona for free. You could also look at people who would do it for commissions and they usually have fair prices. I would say that it would cost you around $25 - $50 USD depending on how much detail you want to add in. You could also post your own thread there looking for it to be drawn and negotiate a price with the artist.

Hope this helps you out

What's proper ediqute when it comes to this stuff?
Welcome. It can be intimidating to get started! There's no specific process or series of steps needed to paticipate in the FA forum.

Create your 'sona at your own pace -- for most people it continues to grow and evolve over time. Use your forum profile to share a little bit about your background and interests. You can have some art done for your icon, but it's certainly not required. In my case, I use a picture of my dog's eye until I find the right artist to capture what's in my imagination.

Explore, ask questions and enjoy!
