If you're commissioning and not making it yourself, probably 3k+ if you go with an experienced maker

Recommend getting a job and making sure all your bills are paid before you even consider getting such a costly luxury.

Costs vary a lot, though $2-3k USD is fairly common.

Head - $500 - 800
Gloves - $200 - 300
Tail - $100
Legs - $400 - 500
Full body - $1000 - 1500
The approximate cost of the parts of the suit. It depends on the fame of the master, his experience and the complexity of the costume itself.
A well-known master will probably sew a realistic fursuit for a lot of money, up to 5k, perhaps.
My opinion is that this is the thing for which a miser pays twice. The costume must be made of high quality. It is cheaper to buy it in parts.
Many craftsmen also make Suits or head + gloves of neutral color for myself. You can consider a ready-made fursuit. It will be cheaper and you will just need to repaint the fur, for example. The master can do this for an additional fee - it's cheaper. There are sites where you can buy a used suit, usually they require repairs, but this is also a good option.

I would also not advise buying fursuit for underage fur, firstly, it is very expensive for them, and secondly, a teenager can grow out of it in a couple of years. It's not rational.
Save money while you are still very young.

Yeah, the fursuit itself goes for maybe a couple thousand or more from the bigger makers. You're still looking at a thousand or more for a full suit even from smaller makers.

I will add, however, that this also comes along with everything else you will need-a brush, fursuit spray, under armor.
And don't forget your water.

It's quite an investment, but you're looking at something that will last for years if taken care of, and priceless fun.

It all depends on the maker, some charge less while other's change more, find some fursuit markers and ask for a quote from them. And then got from there.
