Anyone do fursuits?

I'm thinking of trying to get a Kyuubi one for a convention next year. (Kyuubi as in Naruto Kyuubi, except anthro).

i want one too. of my fursona. which shouldn't be too hard as i can make the dragon armor myself. but as to the actual suit itself....thas another story.

Man, I was actually planning on making a kyuubi fox suit to wear with my Naruto outfit! I wasn't neccessarily going to make THE kyuubi fox exactly like the one from the show, but similar. But then when I got the itch, I made Lucario instead. >_< I still might do it, though.

I'd offer to do a suit commission for you, but if it's a full suit, I'd feel more comfortable if you were there for me to measure and stuff.

Well, I was thinking either a full suit, or a half suit; Tails, Head, paws. The half suit would be a bit more comfortable, but the full suit would be really cool.

I would be happy with a half suit. I would need to figure out how to sit with NINE TAILS!

A halfsuit is no problem. If you want a toony head with a static jaw, tail, and hand paws, I typically charge $275-$300, depending on the complexity. More than that, I'll charge according to the cost of extra stuff. Also, if you're wanting a really expensive fur or something, that adds to the price. But as far as the pricing I listed is concerned, I can usually get some nice stuff. Some of the suits I've made for myself have all been made with extremely cheap fur. But they look cheap... I'll be able to start on fursuit commissions again in October when I'm back at my own house (with the stash). I also have friends there that are into making suits, too. When I'm working alone, I've made halfsuits in 3-days to a week. My fullsuit took me 2 and a half weeks. But yeah, it'll be awesome when I get back where I'll have help.

It's really fun to make fursuits. And it's a lot easier than most people think. If you want to practice and stuff, do like I did and go to walmart around...now when they start getting in cheap fur for Halloween. It's really cheap. And after Halloween, it goes on sale. I usually horde and stash it for when I have time.

Kyuubi from Naruto doesn't have a toony head. I wanted to try and have it close to the anime as possible and how much would 8 extra tails add onto it.
