Gaming on the go

Hi guys! I've seen plenty if threads concerning PC & console gaming (correct me if I'm wrong) but I haven't found one regarding portable gaming;

So, this is my idea, to keep our furry minds entertained on the go, please feel free to mention & critique the games you're playing on your mobile phone or tablet.

*EDIT - let's make that any portable gaming device including emulators (Thanks Khyreek)

I'm interesting in knowing what kind of games people like on smartphones. I'm working on making my own cute little games these days, so I'd like to see about making a little something people (from here, even) would enjoy.

Pantheros

you are me, and i am you
whell, the only mobile game that i've played and enjoyed was plague inc.
i've also heard about the watch_dogs mobile game that lets you screw with people in multiplayer and control AI which sounds prity cool

I've always been content with playing Tetris on my mobile. But I'm usually playing my 3DS instead when I'm out.

Sure why not, it's portable after all.

Recently I've been switching between a few, XCOM, Plague inc and Mass Effect.
My phone is pretty much always on charge now ^_^

I also go by Alexis
I don't really game on my iPhone because 3DS master race.

I'm finishing Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Along with my recently bought Kid Icarus: Uprising and Zelda: Oracle of Ages (Virtual Console).

3DS is LOVE.
3DS is LIFE.

Do emulators count?
Because playing Dreamcast games on your phone is pretty damn awesome.

Danmaku death is fun too, if you're on droid.

I play Piano Tiles on my phone.
Otherwise I'll just read on my iPad.

I guess I've really limited what you guys can reply with.
Let's just say any portable gaming, including emulators. Honestly I forgot about those.
Thanks for pointing that out Khyreek ^_^

3ds still has Bravely Default and Fire Emblem: Awakening. Both are good timesinks that you can pick up and play for a few minutes, or hours depending on your mood and how busy you are. The new Monster Hunter is coming out soon too, if you guys are into that series.

DS & 3DS:

Bravely Default is a good game I've enjoyed it some, but even with the battle system it seems like the story line is a bit darker then I was originally hoping for.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Is really mundane and repetitive but I enjoy it to some extent.

Front Mission - Do I really need this many characters? Seriously, it's dumb how many people I have sometimes, but I at least get to kill in large groups.

Smartphone Gaming:
The only big item I play is Ingress, I belong to the enlightened and don't play habitually, because of change in employment and having the time to do so.

Others:
I really should get my psp back out, I know there where several titles I had started but not put a whole lot of time into like Phanthom Brave, and a few others.

I haven't had my PSP out in years, I think it's the first launch model, the UMD version. A bit of a kick in the teeth when you realise you can only get UMD's second hand now, but at the time it had to be Worms, Ridge Racer & Killzone for me.

I'll be honest I've tried looking into an emulator to get Pokemon yellow on my iPhone, I just don't think I have the patience to do it since repairing the lock/volume assembly.

No love for the Playstation Vita yet?

I've heard mixed reviews, any good?
I'm not even sure I'd pick one up, I can be rather fickle with consoles.
Once something new comes out I'd play it religiously until something else grabs my attention,
regardless of my progress. Kind of annoying once you realise how many incomplete games you actually have XD
