Getting Back Into Roleplay CLOSED FOR NOW

Hey guys. I used to be an avid roleplayer back in middle and high school, but have since kinda dropped it. Which is a total shame since I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping to get back into rping and revive an old hobby.

I tend to only roleplay with OCs. I'm not a big enough fan of many shows/movies/etc. to do anything with canon characters well enough haha. I also have a fairly literate rp style. I'm not sure how that equates to this specific rp community, but I tend to write one or two paragraphs in responses unless its a dialogue scene. I'm out of practice so that may be a little less, but I have faith I could get back into it quickly. I'm am mostly okay with adult themes like gore and s*x, but I don't roleplay sex scenes (out of respect for my partner). Don't mind the discussion or acknowledging if characters have done it, I just don't specifically roleplay to scene.

My story interests are pretty vague. I have experience doing feral, anthro, and human. I've done plots involving romance, plots placed in post apocalyptical worlds, and various other settings and themes. I have done extensive research for rps before and I would do it again to create in depth characters, settings, etc. (actually got into hockey and learned about the entire sport and nhl community just for the sake of an MxM roleplay XD).

Any style you like is fine and since its your request, your moods are paramount so you can choose. I like all styles but lean towards sci-fi and medieval easily, and like you I like to make my own worlds and not recreate established ones so OC is fine.
