Glue on claws for paws that can work with touch screen devices

Does anyone make premade claws like that I can just glue on to my paws?

Are they even possible?

Can't live without using device while fursuiting.

Mobile devices often use capacitive touch screens which relies on the capacitive coupling with your body to work it.

You will need to incorporate materials/metal/plastics/rubber/paint that is conducive that makes contact with your skin.

You could try adapting a generic capacitive screen stylus having the rubber nub at the tip of the claw and the other end of the stylus coming back to your finger.

Also you could look at incorporating materials as previously mentioned that are available from Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

Something else that you may have to consider is that some devices also rely on the other hand holding it to form part of the capacitive coupling. So if you find it inaccurate/unresponsive you may have to also incorporate some conductive materials in the paw that will be holding the device while you operate it with the other paw with the adapted claw.

One such example of a generic capacitive touch screen stylus.

Right, so the "claw" would have to permiate through the paw fur and be in contact with the wearer?

Have you ever come across any pre made we can just glue on or install On to a paw glove?

We are building the gloves / paws this week, I don't see the claws going through the gloves to be an issue but I need to know what kind of conductive material to make the claws out of.

I don't have enough experience with plastics or polymers to even construct a non conductive claw

I can sew and work with Metals though

Adafruit do have conductive threads and fabrics for wearable tech.

I believe there are now some conductive types of filament available for 3D printers. It maybe worth a look on Thingy verse to see if there are any claws 3D printing templates available, and if you don't have access to a 3D printer yourself looking to see where you could have them printed in the conductive filament.
