Tutorial: Glueing Fur On Head

Hey there! I'm working on crafting my first fursuit head and am ready to begin glueing down the fur onto the head.

My question is... Where do I glue? Should I apply glue along the seems? I don't want all of my hard work to end up lumpy by incorrectly applying glue.

I would think, apply it to the head, and work the fur on. Like, have it inside out (kinda like a pillow case) and go a half inch at a time, and work the whole thing as one unit. I'm sure there's easier ways, but it seems like it would work. Tedious,but that seems like it would end well.
