I really wish they would try again with that franchise, except big-name companies don't seem to care about animal mascot characters anymore. (Plus they already tried it once and it didn't work, so they probably assumed it can't work.)

But truthfully, a new game would bomb no matter how good it is. And as much as I hate Konami, I cant really blame them. The grimdark, sad dad, 2 color AAA garbage sucks. Dont get me wrong. But I understand why thats half the AAA industry while the other half is cookie cutter weeb shit.

I'd hold out for a smaller indie studio to remember Rocket Knight and make a successor.
