got a few Q's

Ok im a little new at this. I first saw a Furry at Metro Con in Tampa and fell in love with them. My friend kinda told me what furrys are but I still didnt understand so the past year ive been thinking about furrys.

I dont want to sound stupid or anything here. But I do have a few Q's

First are all furrys gay? Reason I ask this is when i told my friends I want to be one they kinda thought I was Gay. So I didnt know what to think then.

Next is I was told to pick out a furry is like your personality. So if that is true Mine would either be one of my 2 fav animals.... A Monkey. I love all things monkeys hence why my friends call me Munky. Or a Ferret couse I am very playful.

Next and last Q's is how do I come about to get a suit? And does it have to be a full suit or half? I have seen pics of people in both and I didnt know if that had a reason to it.

So if the questions are stupid im sorry. Im just trying to learn more. But anyways I really want to get me a furry suit. So hopefully someone can please help me out... Thanks

1. No, not all furries are gay.

2. I don't really see a question for this one. Just pick whatever fursona fits you.

3. I wouldn't know how to acquire a suit. Someone else will help you on this.

No. All furries are not gay. The furry fandom however is a sausage fest with 80% of it's population being male and that male population is usually starved for affection.

All furries are jailhouse gay. ^_^

Additionally, one can choose an animal for their fursona for whatever justification they want. Except a monkey. An anthropomorphic monkey would just be stupid.

1)Most furries are straight, next largest group is bi, smallest group is gay.

2)You can look around for who make suits. Suits aren't required. Most don't have them.

3)You can be whatever you want.

Pretty much just try to lurk around in the forums a lot and try to make some friends.

I don't know about that fursuit stuff, I'm only in it for the pr0n.

Don't want to abuse anyone here, just the topic question is silly and want to say my opinion.

First little I'm confused about how most of the people react when they understand that you are not the typical man.
It's not necessary every furry to be with different sexuality.
Why someone will refer furry with non-straight people only?
I can't answer to myself on this questions, but I was in this situation before.
At the chat one friend ask me Am I gay, I told him that I'm not, but his next question is surprised me... He ask me how I could be a straight person when I'm furry and I have an anthro dog with a penis for my avatar, so how to answer on that?
Just told him that this dog has it, because it's a male dog.

Wait, who spread this rumors around the world?
I even don't like yiff, erotic or nudity is fine for me, but it's not necessary when you mention that you are furry to like yiff and to be with different sexuality, uhm hehehe Am I right?

Anyone could be furry, it's a matter of choice.

You could have 2 fursonas. It seems like you relate well to both animals. You could also attempt to design a ferret/monkey creature though I do suppose their body types go against each other quite a lot.

Not all furries are gay.

When it comes to your fursona, please take some time on it, and find critters that actually reflect you.

Also there are several suit makers here. Although the best advice I can give you as suit maker and a suit wearer....get a partial first, if that. Don't go full suit until you know you can handle a partial.

Yea, more along the lines of Dwarf, I'd suggest lurking around these boards here for a few month before dropping the change on fursuits and such. A worthwhile suit runs at least $1000, which is a big investment into a new hobby.

I'd say give it some time and see if 'it's right for you', then work on getting a partial, and move up to a fursuit.

Wearing a full suit wouldnt bother me.. Im in the 501st legion. well for those that dont know. They are a group of guys and girls who dress up in star wars outfits but not as jedi. we do Stormroopers,Vader and anything else from the Empire. And those suits are a pain and very pricy.
So far on my Stormtrooper armor I got at least 1200$ in it.
But I was thinking doing a Half Furry Suit to start with anyway.

. Not all furries are gay at all... Some are happily asexual, even.

. Choose a monkey. They come in a lot of cool colors/markings and there are already approximately 60 million mindless ferrets running around the fandom. Be different :)

. Suits can look however you want them to look. A lot of people start out with a partial before they get a full suit, because partials are easy to make and wear.

2. I can't help you here. You can be anything you want... it's your decision. I just chose the one which struck the greatest emotional chord with me.
3. Either have alot of money or have a friend who makes them.

Yup. And for me it happened because the furry fandom is the answer to all the questions I have had regarding my sexual orientation over the last 5 years.
