Okay so the title of this topic gives it a bit a way of what i aim at.
But since i don't know where to post requests for "Free art" or what ever, i just post it here.
REMEMBER: This is neither a request or commission, just a random idea that struck me after watching 2 mins into the "Nostalgia Critic - Are Superheroes Whiny Little Bitches?" YouTube video
There is a picture of the whole gang of Greek gods, where you see Zeus as this super physically strong deity.
And it struck me, What id the Greek gods were more like skinny, but magically powerful beings instead? Human in appearance, but nerdy.
After all, with all their power, they could easily intimidate artisans into portraying them as we see them today, super strong mighty.
But what if that's not the case? What if they are nerdy/geeky skinny little gods with extreme amounts of power?
I think ANY mortal would actually be afraid of such a person. I know for a fact that, while not afraid at first, i would definitely show respect. That's for sure
So, if there is an artist out there whom finds this idea really fun, it would be fun to see this drawn.
Showing all the Greek gods standing together, but as these skinny powerful humans.
Oh and Who's not to say that the gods of "Love" and "Beauty" aren't some sexy chubby looking ladies?
According to Greek lore, most of the upper class ladies were actually not so skinny as portrayed. After all, they ate well.
But ya, what do you guys think of this idea/ or trail of thought?
