Guilty Pleasures

JakeTheFoXx

Ope, 'Scuse Me
Not necessarily a game, but rather post your guilty pleasures. Could be anything from music to food, and anything in between.

Here are some of my guilty pleasures:

Please feel free to share! Let us revel in our guilty pleasures :)

Ravofox

back to Aussie foxying!
Looks like everyone's too guilty to share theirs!:p

As for me, I have to say that one of mine is...foxes!

They're my favourite animals, but here in Australia they're a problem for a lot of our wildlife, and so sometimes it feels like I'm liking the 'bad guys.'
However , I love all animals and am very passionate about preserving my country's amazing native creatures, while still being able to love those red critters no matter what:)

For a non furry related one, I'd say the last Matrix movie.

Well, I don't really feel guilty for doing or liking anything, but there are some things I do in private so that I avoid people giving me shit for it.

One example is this guy's music:
In my country, people either love him or hate him. Many of my peers consider him an abomination, while I think he's a genius.
So I don't talk about how I love his music, and that I listen to it regularly.

My guilty pleasures often end in self-loathing.

Reminded me of Pabllo Vittar in the sense of heated public reactions. I hear them a lot, besides Gloria Groove and Ney Matogrosso - these seem to be more of a unanimity musically, but all the mentioned ones are known for questioning gender roles.

As for guilty pleasures... maybe enjoying some brazilian funk music. Musicians here, including some that I know personally, can be very tough on the genre, defining it as "too mediocre in creativeness", "cultural trash", "obscene", "dumb", "badly done", "drug trafficking related".

Personally those crits themselves don't make much sense to me and feel like they're directed towards something else, maybe more specific stuff. Maybe some questionable songs. But I dunno. I like it, I dance to it, I'm guilty. :p

Pretty much all of my favorite things are like guilty pleasures. No More Heroes, Deadly Premonition, Dragon Ball, Grand Theft Auto, Junji Ito, um.. Porn, Resident Evil, Rap music with dirty lyrics, Cognac, Tobacco, the first Dead Rising game, John Waters, trashy fiction in general, violent video games in general, and Pop Team Epic. I love the horror genre in film and video games. I like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, liberal politics, 2 Chainz, fetish wear, and Big Trouble in Little China.

Here in Baltimore John Waters is a high-brow cultural icon :p

Posting in forums. It is so good it should be a crime.
Modding certain games to include certain content.

Watching people play difficult games and watching them lose their minds. I used to mod a game and made it difficult for someone. That was one interesting experience.

Guess Mario Maker in a way helps that desire/watching Dashie/all the others who play it try to beat impossible odds at times. Maybe it is inspiration to keep on going no matter what and that's why I watch. And not the obvious reason that one small part of me has a darker side that enjoys the downfall of life or something dark, yet darker as a reason.

If it makes me feel guilty i want no part in it... but I'm lax about a lot of things. =w=

Watching Pokecapn, Medibot, Kaz, and Illuminatus Vespucci play Sonic 2006 which is a trauma unto itself and seeing them lose their collective minds is amazing, and General Tso's gives you ideas.

If you guys havent seen that... I mean its 47 videos long. Oh man those were the days.

I actually really liked the game...
Been thinking about giving it another playthrough recently, in fact.

There are things that I didn't like, sure, but I won't talk about them because they've been repeated plenty of times before.
...But I actually thought it was a decent game.

Sorry for responding so late but I got carried away playing games last night.

I doubt that Azis really intended to question the gender roles. He comes from a rather troubled background, from an ethnic group that's not liked here. In my mind, he did this to get attention and it was the only way he could succeed here, with music.
For comparison, see these two videos and how they are nothing like the one I linked yesterday: Habibi and Motel.

I know you won't understand a thing from the lyrics, but the song I sent yesterday, and many of that "era" are seductive, carnal, etc. These two new ones not so much. They've gone from lust to playfulness and romance, broken hearts, etc. In my opinion, he isn't even gay. But he had no other choice if he wanted to use his singing talent. And that is why I think he's a genius.
