Yeah! I searched it and didn't find a thread XD SO!
Here's the rules:
If you're open for a challenge, post in here and agree to battle whomever challenges you.
There are two types of challenges: Solo Challenge or Song Challenge
Solo Challenge: A neutral Member (Probably Me most of the time, in the beginning) records a bg track that you must both solo over and post on either FA or another music site, and provide a link, winners will be chosen by the bg track creator. In the event that no neutral member posts they'll write the bg track, or it takes too long
Each Battler records a track that the judge must evaluate and post the scores, higher score wins. ^^
Song Challenge: The harder of these two Challenges. Both guitarists must write a song on a deadline set by the challenger. Both parties must agree on the deadline and submit it before, or on that deadline. Once again, a neutral poster will judge the winner
Rubric Used For Judging:
Ties: There can be score ties, but one guitarist/musician must win the match, even if it's REALLY close, one must win.
Quality: The recording quality of the track wont be major, but will earn the person brownie points
Technique: Another hard one to judge, but technical skills like Tapping, Sweep Picking, ect. earn brownie points.
Rhythm: A.K.A. staying in time with the drums, off-beat-ness is bad...don't do it XD
Mistakes: As always, make or break your win
Content: Tracks with drums/bass/keys/ect. are always given better scores because of how full they are. Keep that in mind ^^
Tone: HUGE!!!! This is basically if the notes can be heard and are full fat notes...not thin dry notes that blend together.
Originality: Though covers are ok IF SPECIFIED, please refrain from doin' em' ^^
Beat: Make the listener head bang.....that's basically what this is for XD
Effort: Please try to win XD Even if you're sure the challenger/challeng-ee is better, TRY to beat him/her, it can happen

On scale from 1 to 10
Please score BOTH songs and explain why they got those scores ^^
