Welcome.
This section (Art and Illustration) is the only one suitable, so I hope you're not mad at me for creating this theme.
I really love embroidery and I want to share my works, as well as see what you embroider. Show cross-stitch, satin stitch, ribbons or beads - any one is good.
I will start with a job that was started in early adolescence and was completed most recently, in 2021. In total, I have been embroidering this work about 7 years, (constantly dropping and continuing).

The embroidery was made according to an embroidery kit from a Russian company. Unfortunately, it was discontinued many years ago, so you can't order an official set for yourself now.

I will not believe that there is not one on such a large forum, who is fond of embroidery. But you know what? If you are shy or don't embroider, I will just show what I do.
This tiger cub is my first embroidery Satin-stitch. Summer? 2021. A year has passed since then, during which time I have become experienced enough in this to consider myself a professional (where is my modesty?XD).

Just stay if you want to see more. First a few old works, then new ones.

The features of embroidery are that it contains flowers made of satin ribbons. I've always wanted to try this. Embroidery with ribbons turned out to be much easier than I expected.

This is the "Rabbit" from "ALICE".
One of those things you do to take a break from another, big embroidery. 2021 too.

This is embroidery satin-stitch, was made in January 2022.
It was she who became the starting point for me. With this embroidery, I realized what I want to get and how I should do it. The second in a row? But it is still almost as good as the new ones. (Some things, under certain circumstances, we learn extremely quickly.)

Embroidery satin-stitch + felting.
So. First I took an A4 felt, then I felting a hare, the background and plants on it - these elements were incomprehensible, just a substrate that would be under cotton threads in the end.
There is also some wool on top of the plants.

This is all very impressive (your other thread too). I wasn't even aware how much and how good can be done with these techniques.

I'm not very surprised there seems to be no other people doing this. Looks like crafts aren't super common in the fandom, and if someone is into them, it's usually about fursuits.

Also this forum is not that huge. I know the statistics show over 100 000 registered users but if you look closely, the actual regularly active ones that stay long-term and post stuff are maybe 50 people at most.

You know, when I came here to the FA a little more than six months ago, I was really surprised that during all this time there was no craftsman who would do this. I got a lot of feedback when I started showing my first crafts, although I have absolutely no audience.
I also saw veeery few wool toys, although they are very popular in general.

Perhaps you understand this better than me. But I am a member of a much smaller thematic forum, and there were already 2 beasts, besides me, who are engaged in similar crafts.
On some forums, just half of the users are artists, where to go from them, I ask you? They're like mushrooms!
Maybe at least here I can be the firstXD

These are several magnets embroidered with a cross on a plastic canvas. The design (diagram) was made by me, and the embroidery was done by my friend and colleague.

Embroidery satin-stitch + sequins. This is a sample, it was made just to see what it would look like. I enjoyed it. Sequins can look like scales in fish and dragons. Feathers too. Now I have about 12 colors and 2 sizes

It's a brooch. A friend asked me to do this. Now I have an idea about a more convenient way to make the back side and the pin, it remains only to buy them. And to understand who else needs these thingsXD

Polar owl.
I stopped in the winter of 2022. I'm going to continue again.

1648486158.hornedhut_100_1721.jpg

I prefer to do WIPs. The work takes several months and it's nice to see progress.

Over the past year, I was able to purchase several kits. Now I'm damn glad I didn't spare the money back then. I have a battle of ships, wolves, a wonderful landscape with pine trees and some other great kits. I can show their photos (if anyone is interested)/

yeah it would be nice to see the kits too.
Cool, I like to show off my modest reserves:> I'll send it here later.
Last week I went to a thrift shop and there they had a very old embroidery kit.
My friend and I don't throw away the leftovers from the embroidery kits. We have no one to give them to or exchange them, but we try to keep them. The sets that I have been embroidering lately contain a scheme in good condition, (and often, a large number of threads) so maybe I'll exchange with someone later.
I think the embroidery thread was incomplete (not every color was there) but the chart and fabric were OK. I got it for really cheap.
You know, I think this kit belonged to a person who likes to use his fabric. My friend is one of those. She likes to embroider everything on Aida 18, kits with her are rare. Therefore, she gives or exchanges the "native" fabric.
I'd take a look at your "supplies" if you want to share!
