Or the more basic question:

"Do any private people have an internet connection in North Korea?"

No. I think people in NK are probably too worried about starving to death/being killed and sold at market as pork to find time for interests like this. There's also the whole oppression and no internet ever thing.

Timmichan... do you seriously have to ask this question?

There are many other oppressed and undeveloped places besides North Korea. The Internet is very far from being world wide :p Actually even western countries work for making the net as regional as possible, or at least the media companies. "This video is not available in your region" :p

North Korea has it's people locked up like a safe, no way there are furries in NK, they have other things to worry about... like getting food, and not being killed by their "glorious leader" the fat, psychopathic, ugly dictator, Kim Jong Il. Though, there are furries in other communist countries, like China, and, definately some in less-than-prosperous nations, but NK? The only websites people CAN go on are funded, developed, and supported by the Government, and, surprisingly enough, that does not include FA, FAP, or VCL.

This isn't a rant against the person who made the thread, I just really hate North Korea.

At least the wildlife thrives in the Korean demilitarized zone, and even around Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Something good, if we forget the humans for a while :p

That's not strange, that's entirely understandable actually, given the govt of that country is probably the world's worst authoritarian dictatorship...

Saying they're hostile really isn't giving them justice. They're not responsible for the crazy actions of their government. You say you think there nice ones you don't hear about... I'll add to this and say: North Koreans are fine people, but we never get a chance to hear more than the insane antics of Kim Jong-Il.

I know about as many north Koreans as I do well-rounded, believable (non-canon) characters in a Naruto fanfic.

And US doesn't do anything because of China and lack of natural resources (oil) in NK :p Too big and well trained army too (jesusfish2007's link, clear military propaganda). And South Koreans probably don't like that their brothers are bombed.

How long does it take util the communist government falls? It might be very long, or very sudden. But I guess it has to be internal, by North Koreans themselves.

It'll be a while it falls, modern totalitarian states are almost impossible to rebel against. Basically, you're gonna have to wait until the economy is so bad, it can't sustain an efficient army.

Also, while there are no furs, Kim is rumored to be into unbirthing =o

I don't know, given that video link, I imagine there might be plenty of closet furs in NK. But yeah, I shudder to think what would happen if any of them came out of the closet!

NK will remain viable (howbeit, just barely so) because China wasn't want a flood of a gazillion refugees. Once China gives up communism (which may never happen), I expect NK will quickly fall.

And the sad thing is that only in the army one doesn't need to suffer from hunger, that keeps it "popular" among the people. Seems like NK is "the perfect murder" of states and governments..

Remeber... All things broadcast on television are approved by State Media, and often Kim Jong Il himself...

I accually got into furry art after meeting this girl in school and she had just moved to U.S. form North Korea. In July of 2005 she drew a picutre of inuyasha on the chalkboard in art class. I thought "That's really cool"! It was there for three days and after class I would stay behind and look at it. And then I came into class one day and it was gone and I was like "Nooooo"!
