Hey, FAF, You're Beautiful When You Dream

Lobar

The hell am I reading, here?
I'm always in my own dreams, when I remember them. I tend to see myself from the third person I guess, but this is not always so.

Kommodore

well what is it?
Always first person, and I am always in unusual events but there is never anything fantastical about them. So, I would be running from the cops but in a boring, un-surreal way.

Admurrable Admurral
I have 1st and 3rd person dreams, sometimes I am fantastical, and sometimes I am just a regular person, sometimes in the dream I have I am not even me, I am somebody else, and just happen to be in that body.
I once dreamed I was a girl with blue hair, I was punching people, and eventually I won a fight. I was like "question mark?"

So I've got a question for all of you: When you dream, is it usually from a first person or a third perspective. Also, how often are you in your own dreams. Fantastical versions of yourself count.

I'm only asking 'cause I just realized that I can't remember the last time I had a dream that I was in. Seems like that might be a weird thing. I know that polling FAF to establish normalcy is like trying to smoke your teeth white but you're the best I can do. <3

Also I'm not including a poll because polls are a stupid thing.

Actually, you CAN do better: http://dreammoods.com/dreamforum/

I don't recall a third person dream... but I do recall dreams where I will change who I am... if that makes any sense.

Exterminieren! Exterminieren!
First person, always in full color.

Psychological Egoist.
So many people saying first person. It makes me wonder what that means when pretty much all of mine are in third. I think. Don't really remember them much. Pretty sure they're third, though, because I like to see what's going on behind me too. Also, yeah, I'm usually in my dreams :V . I have to actively think about it to make it first person.

My dreams are a mix, and they're usually very film-like. By that I mean that I could start out in first person, but then the "camera" would fly out of my body and show another scene, then back to me (could be either 1st- or 3rd-person), etc.

First person. I can't remember the last time I've had a third person dream... if I even had one.
More precisely, I don't remember seeing any part of me in a dream. Ever.

You are tearing me apart Lisa!
Has anyone else here had a dream about Santa Clause being a porn star with two dicks and an 18 year old blond Mrs. Clause? :U

My dreams are usually not realistic.
Mostly either voilent or scifi like.
Most have a problem I have to solve in the dream.
And every time it gets more priceless.

usually i am either myself, or some vague rendition of an ideal self (different hair/eye color), and the dreams are usually in first person.
the only time i have seen myself in a dream was when i looked into a mirror, which for some forced me to wake up when i saw my reflection.

First person, all of the time.

I'm generally storming around ancient buildings or caves saving people, or helping others survive some crisis, but it's all me.

Wishes He could Fly
First person, but it switches. If I concentrate to hard on a background character, I become that character instead.

Nylak

Angry Otter
Almost always first person. ...Or always, since I honestly can't remember ever having had a third person perspective. And I'm almost always myself, though I might be acting as another "character" (like, in a different place/setting/background, whatev).

Captain Spyro

Heart of the DragonStar
Mostly first person, but I remember lifting a volcano once in a dream.

That was third person.
