Heyo! Finally popping up

I've been rather lurking the forums, though not for long. I guess I'm like...not full new but still new enough to be a bit lost on forums!
So hi, you can call me Onei, or Hikarty since those are the names I'd like to use here :) she/they (I have a weird doubt going on with pronouns)

I mostly got in here because I love drawing furries, since I like animals but I have more fun drawing furries and people have super cool designs! I love to find characters based on not so frequent animals, and discovering new species I didn't know before. I spend my life between different types of art I guess. And I'm a scientist-artist I suppose haha.

Welcome! Did you draw your profile picture? If so, it's absolutely lovely! I totally feel you with the pronouns. You're sure to find plenty of people to connect with on here! And plenty of strange things happen if you're in the right threads as well... People have really interesting designs and you're sure to find people that art like you do! I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Welcome! Enjoy your stay, hope you dont get too lost lol.

Also, pronouns are confusing, so dont worry if you dont know what you go by. Its more fun to be an enigma that confuses the ignorant anyways.

Thank you all c: ! I'm not sure how pinging/replying to specific people works here but @ Alys, yes I drew my profile pic, it's one of my main characters I'm drawing/using here <3

About pronouns it's just I don't know if my confusion is with gender itself or just expression (like, looking more masc/femme rather than being girl, guy or n-b)

If you wanted to ping someone, you could either click "reply" to their post and ^^^ this ^^^ shows up or you could do this: @Hikarty and it'll work much the same!
'Tis beautiful art!
Are you transfem? Male by birth but female by feels? That's what I am so I get what you're feeling UwU

Good job on your profile picture!

Gender expression can be super confusing though lmao. Like I'm a guy, and I'm perfectly fine with that (used to have some doubts), but my sona is definitely female. I've been called effeminate before, but I wouldn't say overly so. I think that was more because I don't really buy into stereotypical toxic masculinity ygm, the guy who said that was trying to be insulting (but I was like yes bitch so what)

<3 Of course! Also, incredible work on your pfp!

As far as gender identity, its a mix of both. And its hard to pin it down. its why i dont like labels. but you have no rush and your not obligated to figure out anything. be who you are and make the world love you for it

ooooh ok thanks!! and no, it's more like female by birth but doubting with gender expression and pronouns and things? I haven't really mentioned it to anyone IRL really I think, I just feel weird because I recall seeing myself a bit more masculine (shorter hair, a loose cool shirt I got in "men's section" on a shop with which I saw my chest a bit more flat, using suits instead of dresses for graduation - the sort of traditional seeing as masculine stuff I suppose) and feeling quite good/more comfortable that way? I don't think I'm a guy though, it might have to do with what I mentioned first :0
But anyway, it's just Big Confusion for me right now!

Thanks! and yeah that's what I get to see also on my friends since half of the people I know is also LGBTQ (I'm bi, at least I know that for sure after 6 years haha), like things can be confusing, you can realize things after time etc.
And the sona thing just gave me an idea for something so thanks for mentioning that c: in the end your sona is there to represent you and if you are happy with it that way: cool!

Thank you ;; I get people who don't like labels, though for me I guess it's kinda important to be able to use a word to refer to something if that makes sense. But yes, time to take it slow, it also took me 6 years to realize I was bi haha

Maybe not trans but just a tomboy? Or maybe some kind of neutral gender? I'm trans and I'm weird about pronouns too. You could be just a masculine girl or something else. I don't know a lot of gender things, I've only recently started questioning my own.

It's great that you have friends to help you out with stuff like this! I've got the same thing and they're all really helpful and supportive of it so don't be afraid to tell your friends about it! I'm sure they'd react the same way you react to their LGBTQ shenanigans!

I'm the same way with labels! It's nice to have something you can use to describe the way you're feeling because let's be honest, feelings are a hard thing to describe and labels make that so much easier. At least, that's why I like labels!

Yeah that's what I'm currently wondering the most! and that's ok, I mean I mostly learnt things can take quite some time and doubts and thats ok c:
Also good to see you also have support and love around <3 it's super important for stuff like this and specially in weird times like now...I do also feel like that for labels, it's like, it makes things easier for me to understand I think? and it kind of helps summarize something in one or few words : )
