How could I replicate galaxy style fur?

So, say I have a Dutch Angel Dragon fursona with blue nebula fur. I'd like to make a fur suit of it, but I don't know what kind of fur I could use! I was thinking maybe using dark blue fur and airbrushing it? I'm not sure. Help, please?

i wouldn't suggest airbrushing dark blue fur, from what i've heard it isn't possible to airbrush lighter colors on dark fur. what about buying a premade fur that's similar to what you're wanting? like this or this?

If you're going to airbrush your fur, get white fur and go from there. BTW, get extra and practice before doing the actual suit.
