How do I get ventilation in my mask?

So my muzzle is finally finished foaming but when I breathe, the air has no where to go just I'm just breathing co2. The only way for air to get in is the side of my face and even that is about to be closed up so I can put some cheeks on ( plus the fur) so how can I get some air holes in? Maybe some holes on the lips and make those like whiskers or something.

Yeah I've been keeping that in mind. My furry is a panther and panthers have pretty short fur so I'm not too worried about it. If it does then oh well I'm a noob. Noobs make mistakes but they learn. But! I'm still having the little problem of breathing inside the muzzle.
