Which of those options would you use when referring to your romantic interest in the third-person? For example, "I really love going to the movies with my _____".

Bacu

Meh.
People who only refer to each other as baby piss me off. Though there is a vindictive joy that I get when I realize that their lives will be terrible.

Boyfriend, Mate, love, future DH.

Solas

Even when I had a significant other, I always referred to him by his name.

The Artist Formerly Known as Jesusfish
My Mistress and the Lady.

I prefer the archaic to the demeaning terms of the modern day.

Either by his real name or as my partner. I don't really like the term "boyfriend" because it sounds too childish and non-serious, and I only really go for very committed romantic relationships.

I'm most likely to say "babe" or their first name when speaking to them directly, but in third-person I'd be more likely to say "boyfriend" or "mate".

It depends for me, obviously here in furry community I would say their my mate, in rl life girlfriend.

then again I'd probably wait till I'm married to call someone my mate
